The comedy in KFP2 is some of the worst in DreamWorks' history

KFP1 is like, the ultimate filter for low IQ retards.
It has everything. Character flaws/development, symbolism, an awesome training sequence, an awesome final fight, and a perfect message for both children and adults alike.
But retards would rather watch something about some cringe origin story with basic-bitch messages like "Don't let your past turn you into a psycho" and "Love your dad" with 0 intelligent writing to showcase any of it.

KFP1 is the only movie that was directed by John Stevenson and Mark Osborne. They left DreamWorks shortly after KFP1 premiered and had zero involvement with the sequels.

you could tell the budget wasn't there too, it was easy to see the asset reuse in the chase scene, didn't get to see kai and shen have their fights

Its not that it was horrible, it was just really mid and messed up a lot of what the first 3 movies built up. The male humilation ritual for Po and how the Aquafina fox takes his place is not enjoyable. It does annoy me after so many years of being the dragon warrior Po still seems like the same dopey fat nerd from the first movie. I feel like after the second movie he shouldve been more mature but still funny and jovial.

I lost interest at around KFP2 when the main villain's whole gimmick is that he has cannons and literally/metaphorically tried killing martial arts.
It wasn't an "our forts do nothing, no walls can hide us" thing, so I don't get what the cannons "did", unless all the martial artists just stood there and tried tanking shots. It's not like the movie shows him having thousands of them either, I remember at most like 10, and that took me out of it. What took me out of it even more was that they wanted Shen (was that his name?) to feel like an absolute monster in 1-on-1 combat, a deadly wall of knives, but half his lines are him whining and bitching about pandas.

Still though, from what I've seen across the internet, Po's replacement in KFP4 is the deciding factor on whether or not people like the movie.
