There's like 15 or so episodes that are truly great while the bulk of the remainder (especially episodes in S3) run the gamut from mediocre to dreck. S2 is the only season with any consistency in tone and a sense of forward momentum (Anne needs the ice to clear -> travels to Newtopia -> needs to visit the shrines -> final confrontation and twist endingS1 is mostly funny frog adventures, which is more acceptable given the show was still setting things up, and S2 followed on Reunion pretty well, but as has been said to death S3 returning to funny frog adventures [but on Earth] absolutely blows as a follow-up to True Colors and feels absolutely like padding until the last 10 episodes of the season when the main plot reengages for the conclusion.
