It's not an English dub of a Japanese show released in Japan (something that has happened a few times). As another anon stated, the few anime tie-ins OG Mega Man got were given faithful English dubs. Battle Network and Star Force are different stories, but that's a completely different sub-franchise.

The Japanese could have made action figures of every goddamn robot master and I would have imported every fucking one as a kid. That's how much I loved the series. I got almost every figure from the Ruby Spears cartoon, but Japanese merchandising is so fucking shit it's unbearable. You can get Rockman, Blues, and maybe Cutman or something, but that's basically it. You can get a billion different figures of those few characters because they all use the same molds except for the head.It's like being a fan of Transformers in a world where you can only get merch of Optimus Prime and occasionally Bumblebee.
