>>146905901I can second The Big Burn. I don't know whether it'll stick the landing, but the setup is good at least. DSTLRY is cooking some interesting stuff in general, with some big names under their belt. "The City Beneath Her Feet" is in a similar boat as Big Burn where I don't know if it'll be good but at least it has a strong setup, and "Life" has shit art but a cool story. Haven't picked up any of their other stuff, but I might.

The stories were bad and the prose was laughable, but the paintings were some of the best comic art I've seen in my life. Some other good ones in particular order:>Grendel: Devil's Crucible - Defiance>Dick Tracy>Turtles of Greyskull>Watters Nightwing>Wong Psylocke (genuinely shocked about this one)>Rocketfellers >Resident Alien: The Book of Life>William of NewburyNorth's FF and Johnson's Transformers were also great this year, but started earlier.
