>>146913193The first arc was great. The art was difficult to get into at first but it gave the comic an ambiance that i have missed. The guy couldn't draw a face but the way the comic was paneled really gave it motion and a feeling of things "flashing" around. He did amazing backgrounds too. The writing was unusal but enjoyable. I looked forward to uncovering the mystery of deep change and arc angels each month. It was science fiction and dark horror rolled up in a superhero comic. If that is the direction it continues, and I'm fine with that, they need to develop the characters more so that I care about the family. More issues like the one where Linda was struggling to cope with her loss of the speed force and distance from her husband after giving birth. That was solid. Get to the emotional core of these people. I just read Hellblazer Dead in America, so I know Spurrier can capture a characters voice and emotional core. I think he just needs to care about these characters as much as he did John Constantine. Make it personal again my dude!Also, why does it take 10 minutes before I can make my first post. What bollocks. It really makes this pit of a website enjoyable.
