I managed to see a few episodes from the leaks and I'm confused as to why /co/ hates it. This is one of the few revivals that actually gets it right...well, mostly. It's more dialogue based than the original and the new soundtrack isn't anything crazy, but the animation has a lot of energy to it, Billy West still does a solid R&S, and it's actually pretty funny. And you'd think there'd be an added edge with Comedy Central involved...nope! Some mild swearing, and that's it.Seriously, what am I missing?

It feels much more like a retread of the worst of the later 3 seasons rather than being a "continuation" of the best of the first two; i.e., it's being what everyone described Ren and Stimpy to be (gross and stupid) without the added edge of what REALLY made it pop in the beginning (the psychodramas and the gags). Honestly, I think it's kinda worse than APC, because at least that one had something to talk about; the animation, the controversy, the god awful plots. Some were boring (there were only 6), but I can tell you more about those than I can even remember about this one. The Comedy Central one doesn't really have anything too note worthy to say. It's just boring.
