The Amazing Flash duology was so bad. I know that’s a common take, but it's LOATHSOME. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone had no charisma as Barry Allen and Iris West, and when Iris died in the The Amazing Flash 2, I didn't gave a fuck. They had zero chemistry. The villains were terrible in these movies, they definitely tried to set up way too much though. They planned and set up the Rogues in the second movie, which was already doing way too much. Dane DeHaan’s Captain Cold was terrible. Jamie Foxx didn’t get a chance to play a good Weather Wizard until No Way Home.

It was really tasteless in Aquaman 3: Black Tides - putting aside the tasteless premise of making Black Manta a direct descendent of a Nazi death camp administrator who believed the current residents of Atlantis stole it from the 'true Aryan Atlanteans' in a hamfisted political tract from the director trying to be pro-immigration but showing modern Atlantis as polluted and wracked by poverty - is the shot where Black Manta's got his foot on Aquaman's neck and Aquaman mutters "I can't breathe.">>146907238They still haven't given up on replacing the white, original Bruce with the Blackman, Bruce's half-brother from when Martha had an affair with a crew of black guys from Suicide Slums. It's just been hell since they put Bendis in charge of the the cinematic universe on top of being editor in chief.
