>>147104027This has been out since early last year. V4 came out not too long ago.
>>147104095Part of me is intrigued by what the AI craze has done yet another part of me is slightly worried. Will this all just be a phase? Or will it instead grow to be so much more and either severely muddle if not outright ruin humanities creative drive? Or perhaps it just may act as a sort of cleansing of the pallet since so much of music and entertainment as a whole is controlled by a select few executives.

>>147104086
>>147104188
>>147104167I'm hoping that at some point that it will greatly aid small time producers so that small independent creators and studios that produce something that looks like it was a big multi million dollar project from a big studio but was instead made by at best a few dozen people.Kind of like what happened when laptops and PCs got powerful enough to run movie and music editing software. I remember that that was a pretty decent industry upset since one computer running some editing software almost had the same level of sophistication and capacity of a professional sound or film editing studio. For me one way that I hope that this AI thing develops is that helps small time animators. Like imagine a small crew could get together make some character designs and do the other important things like develop an overall art style, backgrounds, story boards, etc. And could then use the AI to fill in the rest. Like only having to draw a few key frames and being able to train the AI to fill in the missing frames and such.

>>147104302a true butterface
>>147104238that sounds like the timeline I want when I say the slop is purged. it allows the small time and upstarts to do something and make something. im sick of super mega studio slop being put out and all that crap. I want to see what people like us can make and do when given the power and tools to do it. I would love to see some of the characters created in this and other ai threads turned into full comics and manga and even shows and movies. I think some of the stuff we post and make would be awesome. I even think some of us could do amazing things with already established IP. Im always scrounging the world of public domain characters for new people to base characters off or to revive again in my own unique ways.
>>147104302Looks like you average English slag.
>>147104267suno is a great site and I make music on it once a month or more. i havent fully embraced it as an ai thing yet and mostly just listen to my phonk or 1920s jazz these days. it is cool I can make electro swing and jazz mixed with other genres on suno though. I like that
>>147104151Thanks, Anon. Started using a prompt an Anon here suggested and I really like it so far.
>>147104089it's still archived here https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/147035127/#147035127
>>147104343I've heard it used in a game that had it's ending theme song done using it.
>>147104317That's pretty much my sentiment as well. It's interesting to look at the last few decades and how big animation projects were pretty much the domain of big firms like Disney, Pixar, Warner Brothers. etc. Anyone who wanted to make cheap animation usually got something that looked like garbage. But then as home computers got more and more powerful we started to see the rise of small time animators. People/Channels like Eddsword, Rooster Teeth and their projects, even Vivziepop and a few others. But the thing about them is you still either needed a decently sized team and a pile of money or an absolutely mega load of autism. My hope still remains that AI will develop to the point where it can take a lot of the tedious workload off of animators and simply make it easier for them to do their job. It'll still be human creativity, just aided by machines.Although I imagine one area that will probably lead to a lot of legal fights in the future is going to be the use of AI voice acting. I've already seen people on youtube use an AI of David Attenborough and it's scary accurate to the real deal.

But being able to take a character ive created or dragged out of the limbo void of dark that is public domain characters and turning it into something besides a 1 panel comic scene in the future would be amazing for me. I also agree that the easier it gets with ai the easier it can get for small time and upstart studios and creative people. ive seen stuff in this thread alone that would make for good comics or shows (the azteca jungle princess and her plot with the lady and the man and all that being example as things that could be cool with more advanced ai to work with) I would love to take pic related and build a series of spooky comics off it.

Something that could give a team of 5-10 people the capacity of something like Rooster teeth at the height of their power.Although I imagine that the legal problems would be significant. I mean even if I could assemble a small team of nerds that wanted to do a reboot of either Korra or Voltron we would be dogpiled by lawyers almost instantly.

>>147104524yeah the legal side is going to restrict and restrain ai so hard initially. tons of people will try to make laws for it not understanding it or having wrong ideas of it and thats going to suck. I however hope ai is good enough a team of 1 can do something with it. I have tons of ideas for shows and characters and im autism and dont want to work with other people on my visions of my characters. So someone like me its better ai get so good I can do it all by myself with work and effort. I mean I could work with people but im very protective of how I envision the characters ive created and we know how things go in comics when people put their spin or ideas into a character. also my logic is if it gets good enough a solo person like myself could make something imagine how good it'd be for that 5-10 person team all working together towards the same goal. I think it'd be amazing. now if only more companies would release into the public domain their unused and unloved characters. >>147104544oh my this is... adding this to my notes as I dont want to lose this link and site. Thanks anon i'll go over it and see what I can pull prompt wise from the old threads. maybe i'll see some of the prompts I lost and forgot to jot down.
>>147104454Thank you, Anon, for the inspiration. Feeling a lot better, too.
Last one for tonight. Good night.
>>147104320>>147104311yeah I think I plumped her up with the prompt too much and some of the fat went to her face. I used the custom berg bot on Cici with "Disney 3DCG render of Vanellope Von Schweetz(Wreck-it Ralph)" along with the rest of the prompt plus some other tricks with the prompt to make sure she's very busty and tall and not like how she gets generated with Bing. It's also possible it took a bit of Ralph's fat looking face and combined it with hers (Dall-e 3 messes this up a lot when words are in prompts even if they aren't intended for facial features and more of a point of reference for a character). Dall-e 3 is also capable of fusing faces together if they are both in the prompt.
>>147104628Hell yeah brother.>>147104610Yeah I agree. If we ever do get to the point that a 10 person team could put out something on par with Roosterteeth or even studio Mir it will either have to be a public domain or something that they came up with. There is hardly any way that I could see someone doing a reboot of Korra unless they somehow could do it for free. Samething for Voltron. Even though that show cratered I don't see dreamworks ever letting the rights for that show out of their hands unless someone gives them a boatload of cash.
>>147104671that's great you're feeling better anon. happy to hear it.>>147104708yeah sadly alot of stuff we make in regards to ai will have to be freely made if it involves characters owned. I cant sadly write the batman and porky pig crossover I want without a ton of legal issues. However I can take created characters and public domain characters and make crossovers and even do things with the PD characters. I'm quite hopeful for the future of ai so you can make your voltron and korra content and tell the story how you want legally and not. And thats the freedom ai brings is letting alot of us make content we wouldnt see. its not a big deal but I made a scene of Goku sitting on the roof of a building overlooking a destroyed city. ai lets me make that scene when I know the show is unlikely to give me that shot. same with the christmas perfect cell and goku art I made in dec. ive made silly batman and elsa and anna crossover with ai art. love the freedom to do that.

>>147104238>>147104259for flux or Stable diffusion maybe someone can translate to bing >This vibrant digital artwork depicts a dark-skinned, elf-like woman with long, wavy silver hair and large, expressive blue eyes. She wears a revealing pink string bikini with a plunging neckline, revealing ample cleavage, and an open white robe that drapes off her shoulders. Her pointed ears and slender physique are accentuated by the light. The background features a sunny beach with turquoise waves, a white sun umbrella, and distant mountains. The style is anime-inspired with a realistic, polished finish.

Merida in a new movie. coming to theaters this Summer. Merida and the Ghost and Mister Chicken.
Out of curiosity, about what percentage of the stuff you gen do you guys post? More specifically of unique prompts? Like, I know I share very little of what I actually prompt and gen, probably around 2% of gens and I have lots of prompts I've never posted a single picture from that I have tons of images saved. >>147105301I post most of it. if I get a result I'll post the pic. at least one pic
>>147105379It's a great movie, it was one of my Dad's favorites growing up, so I know it well.
>>147105301a small fraction of it. I routinely make between 150-250 gens a day (bing and other sites) and sometimes more if I get to go full autism with it and have nothing going on for 8+ hours. However I usually post only about 4-20 pics in an ai thread before it dies and usually lower numbers as I dont like to spam. I want to autism dump all my pics but alot of it revolves around about 7 genres and so it might get boring to some. either way I tend to post very little and than of that alot of the stuff doesnt get posted in some of the genres I make stuff for (nobody cares about magical girls fighting zombies or superman traveling with an orc exploring a tomb). so yeah I contain my autism and dump a bit of this and that in multiple ai threads on the site.
Washington won, and it made everyone's night around me (and some people important to me). Cool win though! I need a nap.
>>147105301that jacket on Merida! sorry but I got a huge laugh out of the thought of Merida singing with a southern accent. I have no idea what that would sound like!I've said before, I usually gen pics while watching TV, saving each pic. Then I batch re-name them, then I weed through them to pick out the A+ pics and move 'em to a good-to-post folder. after I post 'em, I move them again to another been-posted folder. seems like a good process I'm okay keeping up with.sometimes I get a bunch of good ones, sometimes none, sometimes I post them all, sometimes they sit in the good folder for a while.(sorry I don't have stat numbers for ya! but if I had to guess it might be like 1% or maybe as high as 5%?)
>>147105430It really is and the fact it randomly pops into my head over the years tells me it is. But Don Knotts was a better actor than he was given credit for imo. I enjoy the stuff hes in. I thought he was a fun barney feif to be honest. Either way going over my notes of storage drives and seeing where I stashed it. gonna watch it tomorrow night I think.
>>147105465>nobody cares about magical girls fighting zombies or Superman traveling with an orc exploring a tombI beg to differ, that sounds fun. But I get you on the spam aspect of it. I have SO MUCH Merida and Rapuznel and Merida gens/visual stories that I've made and I don't want to flood so I post very little. I try to only post when I think I have something others would find interesting or want to incorporate into their own stuff.
>>147105301I went to actually check and it's somewhere around 20% or so.
>>147105476Bong!earlier in the day, the Broncos tried a field goal to tie the game before halftime, and it also BONG! hit the upright, but... was re-jected! no good!so I heard the noise for the Commanders and was shocked to see it was good instead! I was rooting for Washington, too, so I was happy lolI don't have an appropriate football pic, um... this one has a Panther?
>>147105591Imagine the heat
>>147105526I mean some of the stuff I make is alot of fun but I mostly dont want to just spam it. I posted 17 pics in a row in the /tg/ thread a few weeks ago during down hours and only 2 others posted during that time and people whined I was spamming my charactor for about 4 threads and I had to stop posting the charactor for a bit. some people take posting as srs business sometimes for some reason. But I get it you dont wanna see a thread overrun with 80 pics of the same or similar stuff usually. but I find dead hours should be more lax as fewer are posting.
>>147105580>sporting the meg ryan haircutI approve. meg ryan was quite the looker at one point.
>>147105490That makes sense, I myself go through once a year and categorize what I've made. I tend to post as I gen, but I have the saving/naming automated so it's all in chronological order when I go back. Don't worry about actual stat numbers, I'm looking just more for general guess than anything. I just guessed for mine and I just checked and I made 30k+ images last year, and I don't think I posted more than 400 or so, but who knows, I could be wrong. >>147105560That's pretty good posting rate, I take it you don't gen as much as me?
>>147105629I had to switch to "...messy short hair..." because for some reason the AI was going nuts with the hair all around her shoulders and what-not lolI think it looks more space-y anyway so it's all good
>>147105593
>>147105591Aww, Elsa's helping Anna out with a cold compress for her cramps.
>>147105677You could also google or chatgpt what the name of meg ryans hair was in a specific year. silly but I do it alot with hairsyles. its how I ended up using marilyn monroes hairstyle in some pics and a cool curled bob cut from the 1960s I like. but I find getting the names to hairstyles and years can really help finetune a creation better.
>>147105634Probably not. I can count the number of times I've hit a Bing prompt limit on one hand. I also don't save all of the results either.
