He's looking down the periscope with his eye patch. Admittedly, it could be some weird device that *looks* like a periscope but has some sort of small display he could be looking at from a weird angle. The perspective is kinda strange.

Tolstoy didn't write Crime and Punishment, that was Dostoevsky. If you're not familiar with Russian lit the mix up is completely understandable, but if you're making a direct reference you should double check.

I'm with the other anon, I'm too distracted by the idea that THAT'S supposed to be Guinness.
(Guinness is dark as hell.)
Also, whiskey can't be aged that long, it'd taste probably like actual shit by that point, aging isn't a universal upgrade in flavor. Plus I guess it's silly he's pouring it like that, splashing so wildly.
Guh, I can't really imagine what that whiskey would taste like, it'd just taste like straight wood AT BEST, and all the tannins it'd pick up would guarantee it'd actually be literal poison.

This didn't even lead to Spider-Man dying or MJ and Aunt May dying, so there was no reason for it. It was just put in there to justify him having to make some steampunk-looking webshooters to replace his normal ones, which they could have explained by the machines making the capsules no longer working.

I live in the UK and this is how I'm seeing it.
Just some mystery door in a flat: landlord says it was once the airing cupboard, water tank, a closet (instead of a wardrobe), whatever. Just ends up becoming a feature on the wall, cheaper than filling it up. Bookcase ends up in front of it. Don't yous have apartments like this?

The ENTRANCE door is on the opposite side (facing the toilet, as is tradition).

This isn't really an error so much as it's not made clear from panel to panel. Eric actually does have two hands, his scythe is worn over the right hand. We're just not seeing him remove his weapon before panel 2, and put it back on again before panel 3.

It's a common misconception that he doesn't have a right hand. In the early 90s when Eric was undead, Ultron fused the scythe over his hand, but he's died and been resurrected several times since then, so nobody really knows if it still applies, he may have the use of his hand again.
