Beyond just the "finale" episodes, the whole first season was a ratings trap.I understand it's all in the name of parody--stretching out a successful reality tv show premise/characters (see: The Jersey Shore)--but as a kid, I all I cared about was seeing Owen or Gwen definitively win and then have everyone go back home after a wacky summer vacation, not strung along into Chris's purgatory.I haven't watched past season 2, but seeing them all, still, in baby-form now is pretty crazy, and it was all possible fom deffering the first "winner."
