When everyone thought the show was being cancelled, most of the team packed their bags, and by the time they started writing episodes under TBS, everyone who turned the show from "haha liberal daughter hates guns, republican dad hates masturbation but he's a hypocrite" into the nonsequitur fever dream it became, had left for other shows, like Rick & Morty.These days it's nothing but a poor synthesis of what it used to be. Nothing about it is creative. None of the jokes are funny or catch you off guard. There's barely any dark humor or plots the old show used to be so good at.MacFarlane doesn't even give his acting a 1% of the effort he still puts into Family Guy.
