>people actually got upset about a show and it's lore where one of the characters is literally called "evil-lyn"
>>147127395considering Evilyn is an actual name and you can chock it up to a mere dialect/accent choice, your argument is trash.
>>147127395why are you upset, its just a story about magic space wizards.
Wow! You're so cool and mysterious for being all neutral. Please post your some face shots. You're obviously very handsome non-disgenetic.
>>147127428you first
>>147127439No sar. Me uglie. You sar. Very yum yes. Post fase and peanis.
>>147127395Any good ass shots in the new show? What could Netflix He-Man do that the 2002 series didn't already? Even still it's hard to believe they dropped the ball this hard even Nu-Ra has fans. Speaking of which any word on that Amazon series?
>>147127395
>>147127419Evelyn is an actual nameEvilyn is not (outside of maybe someone intentionally misspelling to be a quirky parent)And even if it was, they specifically parse it out as Evil-Lyn because they're obviously going for a cheesy pun.You creating a head canon to justify it so you can pretend the franchise is more mature than it actually is is pathetic. Let's hear your justification for Two-Bad or Man-E-Faces next
>>147127395still crying for likes kevin?

>>147127684
>>147127577He-Ro?
A thread died for this
>>147127949Hevil-lyn
>>147127646you are an sjw
I mean, there are grown ass men who watched nuShe-Ra, at least He-Man is for boys.
>>147127988I like muscle mommies but this is going to far >>147128878Nu-Ra was at least up front about what it was going to be and gave us some good girls.
>>147127395>ugh, why does millenial writing never take anything seriously?>NOOOO STOP CARING WHAT HAPPENS IN A SHOW IT MUST ALL BE THOUGHTLESS SLOP
>>147128995this would have more merit if it wasn't about an IP specifically made to sell toys and didn't have stupid as shit names like Evil-lyn and Man-E-Faces. be for real anon
>>147127577>become all mighty>turn into a mankek
>>147129062
>>147129280I am black, this is a really good drawing of black panther, if we are going to steal ginger & tan characters it's only fair to share
>>147129280every time someone pulls up the white black panther thing, as soon as White Wolf or Ultimate Captain america using the mantle are bought up shit goes real silent.
>>147127395If it's so stupid and bad why not just fuck off and make another Clerks movie since people loved that.OH.WAIT.
>>147128922If you just care about how fappable the characters are there are hundreds of anime that are way better at that.
>>147129378Seriously, shit like this obviously didn't improve the show since it only got any traction at all by the merit of people liking the original and season 2 absolutely tanked, just completely and totally flopped, because nobody wanted to come back to this shit. But Kevin Smith is a master of bringing back stuff people loved from the 90's and managing to make it bomb, he pulled it off twice with the only reason people even knew he was a thing.
>>147128995Josh Wheaton >>147129062It can still take itself seriously. The 2002 show did and even the original a lot of times.
>>147127395My favorite is her toy was highlighter yellow because she was supposed to look Chinese.
>>147129280Nowadays something this funny would be done with AI>>147129378Kevin Smith made this show? Where the exects just completely brain dead. Did they really sit there and think "oh you know who would make a great show that Gen X humor guy who made Zack and Miri".
>>147129724>Where the exects just completely brain dead.Out of touch old people; they only knew he's the guy who made Clerks which somehow instantly makes him an authority in geek shit.
>>147129280>>147129269>Taking He-man serously is silly >B-BUT WHAT ABOUT THE SJWS!!
>>147127395Gonna cry, Kevin?
>>147129821No it's the SJWs saying it's silly but still insisting they be included.Get it now, stupid?
>>147129841I don't think they cared about this show. She-Ra pandered to them successful but this floped because it didn't know what it wanted to be or who would watch it.
>>147129874I mean She-Ra flopped pretty hard too, that audience is just really tiny but inexplicably has a ton of execs hungry for their money. Poor Universal thought they were going places with it and where did they end up running, back to the original.
>>147129891I know that but what I mean is that it still has a visible fanbase maybe a small one but still clearly there and that are happy with the show for what it is.
>>147127395that's such a disingenuous argument
>>147127395Then why in the shit even use the IP if you're not going to respect it?What's the fucking point. Kevin Smith GOT IT in the second season and it was fucking fantastic. But it was too little too late. The rage farmers had their meat and they were not going to let go and he was too egotistical and deep into the controversy to course correct.
>>147129891She-ra flopped because it was bad, HORRIBLY mismanaged behind the scenes, and went full child indoctrination with the shit.If I was in charge I would have cracked the whip, had the show runner bent over a desk and gave her, her own little lesbian/ftm side character to live out her personal demons through while the show was being made palatable for the mainstream and anime geek audience
>>147129841>This show is silly >YOU ARE AN SJW!!
>>147127395doesn't that make it worse? It was a glorified toy commercial and they still fucked it up.
>>147127754You could cut glass with her jawline.
>>147132667I think it can be a mix of both, like you can fuck up a show with stupid premise and details that was made for 10 year olds and that people at the same time taking He-man IP seriously is stupid as well.
>>147133201Netflix:THEY FIGURED IT OUT!!LGBTQA Agenda: WHAT DO WE DO?!!Transmedical industry:CALL THEM SCHIZOS THEN SHUT IT DOWN!
Never watched the sequel because the first show was so shit, but I'm gonna say ONE nice thing about it...this character design does it for me, and I wouldn't mind seeing giantess robot mommy in future iterations of MotU.
>>147127577Which Jojo is this?
>>147133694>Giantess robot mommyUnderappreciated niche.
