This is the best Superman parody anyone's ever done and you can't convince me otherwise.

Captain Hero is a fun character but he's not much of a Superman parody. He's basically the Randy of Drawn Together. He's stupid and gets easily overly excited about random things so it's easy to write about him in random situations.

>he's not much of a Superman parody
He's literally a Superman parody anon.

True but most of the jokes involving him weren't Superman jokes. He was basically just "dumb chad: the character".

In a similar way Toot wasn't really making jokes about 1920s cartoons it was just about her being fat and ugly. Xandir wasn't making much jokes about The Legend of Zelda, it was mostly just gay jokes.

Yeah but like.
He is still a Superman parody, come on now.

I wish this show wasn't so vile it's quite possibly the only truly funny adult animated comedy.

Most of the Drawn Together cast are not much of parody
>>
>>147130100
yeah he is but the writers decided they didnt care about the parody element anymore after a couple of episodees, he is as much a superman parody as xandyr is a link one
>>

I like Drawn Together because it's an animated comedy that remembers its still a cartoon
It's not like Family Guy or Bojack where the comedy is more dialogue based ala a sitcom and animation is used more as a work around for things you can't do in live-action
Drawn Together does comedy beats the same way SpongeBob would do them but for a strictly adult audience
>>
>>147130765
maybe the reason it was so good was because the writers didnt care about superman
maybe everyone else should start doing the same

You put up a good argument and have convinced me.

Can we all agree Wooldoor is a Spongebob parody?

I'm partial to this version

>>147130891
yeah, wooldor is probably the only one who is a decent parody although he is more like 70s underground comic spongebob

Spanky Ham is probably the youngest character since he's a parody of edgy Internet flash cartoons. I wonder how many people got it wrong and thought he was a parody of Porky Pig.
>>
captain hero is really funny but i feel he gets too much screentime and gets a tad bit grating at points

wooldoor is objectively the best character
>>
>>147130923
people keep saying that hes a parody of happy tree friends but i honestly doubt the boomer producers even know that an HTF is. Even then his design reminds me more of Queer Duck.

Drawn Together came out in 2004 which was over 20 years ago. The Internet was a very different place then. YouTube didn't even exist. Back then people would be emailing each other crude flash cartoons of dudes jerking off into cups.

It wasn't even meant to turn you on it was just simple crude humor to laugh at which is the basis for Spanky Ham.

>His Lex Luthor just tricks him into washing his balls over and over
>And he keeps falling for it despite knowing that's his whole MO
could have been funny to see more of his rogue's gallery
Just think of the gentleman his Bizarro must be

No way dawg, that's what made the show funny as heck.

It pulled no punches with its stereotypes that modern Cartoons are too scared to touch.

Like doing blackface/mammy in 2006? Total mad lads. We'll never get such raunchiness again...

They had him in a wheelchair after falling off a Horse.

A direct reference to the Superman actor who became paralyzed (Christopher Reeve).

If there were a reboot of DT, he'd find out the executives were rebooting his series with a new actor, and he'd go on a rampage in a black suit and a mustache as a reference to Henry Caville in Justice League
