We need another Justice League show.

Will it work without the classic style?
>>
>>147139283
the same faces minus cyborg and barfy
>>
>>147139283
The fun part is you could do a lot. We've done the traditional kind of league a few times and that would always work. Supposedly they even toyed with the idea of a JLI spinoff too. There's even the option of going full carte blanche JLU style.
>>
>>147139071
I don't. Justice League Action is as good as it's going to get.
And Shane Glines might not come back if we do get another one.
>>
>>147139468
>Supposedly they even toyed with the idea of a JLI spinoff too
whatt
>>
>>147139534
Yeah supposedly, and I've long lost the article, if Brave the Bold didn't get renewed they were gonna try to do JLI. Which I mean, I liked Brave and the Bold, but also man.
>>
>>147139578
damn
>>
>>147139283
Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash (Wally), Kara (either as Supergirl or PG, whatever), Aquaman, Green Lantern (Simon Baz), Green Arrow, Stargirl, Big Barda, Black Canary.
>>
>>
>>147139071
>he doesn't know
>>
>>147140255
>Blue Beetle
>Stewart looks like black Luthor
>I don't know who that woman is
JLU lineup had some opportunities for back and forth and I don't think this Cyborg is like the Teen Titans one.
>>
>>147140762
>who the woman is
It's Black Canary
>looks like black Luthor
Anon, I....
>>
>>147140787
>Canary
Ah, the haircut threw me off.
>Anon, I....
Oh that's hilarious.
>>
>>147140255
Thanks I hate it!
>>
>>147140787
>>147140808
Fuck, I thought the same thing. Honestly, the way black heroes considered interchangeable is somehow more insulting. Ambiguously swarthy Lex was fun in TAS but I don't NEED him. The Jon erasure, on the other hand, is vexing. I don't want Cyborg, I don't want Luthor, I want Jon. DC just needs to accept that people think Green Lantern is black.
>>
>>147140882
Honestly what sucks about Justice League is that they had a really weak first step with season 1, which is a lot of really boring poorly paced arcs with one or two exceptions, so rewatching it is such a slog, but it really picks up during season 2 and ESPECIALLY once you get to Unlimited where they start going wild.

Tangentially related but I've been rewatching it with the Bluray release they did and good god this show was not meant to be seen in this resolution, the backgrounds are so hilariously low res it's almost like a joke.
>>
>>147139469
Why not? I thought Shane was still working for WB Animation.
>>
>>147141066
>I want Jon. DC just needs to accept that people think Green Lantern is black.
Your love of black dick and cuckoldry ruined John Stewart, Timm. We need Hal, Kyle, and Guy, not John.
>>
>>147141478
>Timm
You're blaming the wrong guy. It was McDuffie pushing most of the John Stewart cuck shit.

Timm was the one who called the shots and demanded John be on the show because the cast was too white.

How did people feel about Justice League Action?
>>
>>147141540
It was a good show.
>>
>>147141569
alas it was in a dead zone slot, while the cn schedule was swampassed with ttg
>>
>>147141540
I liked it well enough. It was certainly on the lighter side of super hero shows but it was what it claimed it was. Bit sizes episodes of Justice League in action.

>>147141591
They absolutely set it out to die. And that's sad,
>>
Will they be clones that get mind controlled by Brainiac, and then killed by the Suicide Squad?
>>
>>147141540
I thought it was great and deserved much more love. Networks are just too bad at advertising and airing their own shows nowadays.
>>
>>147141066
Cyborg being a a founding member of Justice League is just why......
>>
>>147139338
I’m tired of Timm’s style
>>

Cyborg's not the worst option. It's easy to get distracted by Teen Titans BOOYAH borg but Cyborg goes way back.
>>
>>147139071
Not with James Gunn, he has no sense of aesthetics and will make a shit animation with poor design and he is working with Tom King, the worst of two worlds, James Gunn and Tom King
>>
>>147141844
Not to mention he was one of the people considered for Justice League multiple times before the Snyder movies and New 52 run. I know he was considered in the 0 issue of the Meltzer run.
>>
>>147141992
Plus it frees up the Lantern spot
>>
The original had some built-in gimmicks at the start of production that payed off later. So how about no trinity, instead they team up with one of them once or twice a season. Every Season someone joins and someone dies or quits. For example Ollie joins in the middle of season 1 and Barry sacrifices himself at the end.
>>
>>147142181
A rotating roster isn't a bad hook, especially if you manage to pull out a big pay out at the end. Might be a harder sell though. These kind of shake ups are regular to comics but I don't know how a TV audience would react. Going for a more off ball line up JLI is a fun idea.
>>
>>147141025
On the plus side, I think we now know what happened to Rooster Teeth's animators. (not really but it sure has that shitty Gen-Lock look to it)
>>
>>147142181
Avengers United We Stand tried that and it bombed. Trinity needs to be there.
>>
>>147139071
The original show wasn't all that good desu. A downgrade from the previous Batman and Superman animated series, and not just in the way it was animated (Digital vs Traditional Cels). The writers had no idea how to balance the cast of superheroes for the first two seasons, to they were constantly getting beaten down, and Superman in particular was nerfed so badly it was comical. Unlimited got better, but the plots weren't all that good. It's among the most nihilistic of children's cartoons.
>>
>>147142472
It worked in the 80s with the original Transformers and GI Joe. Optimus Prime and Duke were in almost every episode but otherwise the guys working with them were a random assortment of the 20 or so characters from the huge toy line. It turned out pretty well if the fandoms were any indication, though I don't know how that would work today.
>>
>>147143089
A lot of shows had a cast on rotation. I remember every episode MASK would have a computer pick out the best toy.. agents for the mission at hand. It's not the worst framing device.
>>
>>147141431
On second thought, he might come back. I forgot he contributed to the Harley Quinn show.
>>
>>147141540
I like it, but it's obvious how much it panders to executives. Reminds me of the Kid's WB pitch for the other Justice League show.

Yeah it would basically be guaranteed slop were it produced for Netflix or any other streaming service. After Batman: Caped Crusader, we are well aware that even some of the "old guard" are going to push anti-white DEI narratives onto audiences.
>>
>>147145616
There isn't a single episode in Batman: Caped Crusader where they make the fact that someone's black or gay the central focus of the episode. Learn to think for yourself instead of making assumptions based on brainlet videos from YouTube, or even better, actually watch the cartoon.
>>
>>147145693
Doesn't change the fact that many characters are brown/black and female, and that brown/black females get the most screen time and do the most throughout the course of the show. Batman is sidelined in his own series in favor of overweight, diverse women who seem to call all the shots, despite it being a 1920s setting to boot. Also, they gender swapped the Penguin.

Why are you complaining that they made Penguin a hot milf? People in here lost their minds.

The main problem with the show is the actual animation, the layout (uninteresting staging and shots) and some designs. Also the writing could have been improved, maybe they get better with all of these concepts next season.

I never felt that Batman was sidelined, more like he doesn't need to be visible all the time, like in the Clay-Face episode.
>>
>>147146105
Just because your standards are as low as they can go, doesn't mean mine are. Nor does it mean the Caped Crusader isn't woke as hell, because it is. Point being, if a Justice League spiritual successor ends up being Caped Crusader 2.0, it's not worth existing. I thought the original Justice League series was hit-and-miss as it is.
>>
>>147140255
>cyborg and beetle and luthor?
a bit redundant
>>
>>147146120
Right, and you have the taste of a virgin. At least I can point out what I think is good or bad about the series instead of just bitching about it "being woke" like a fucking loser.
>>
>>147143016
Not having Thor, Tony, and Steve was the least of that shows problems. Also I'm tired of every new JL thing being just the Trinity plus some others.
>>
>>147146570
It's a bit funny to think in a post MCU but back then Iron Man and Thor weren't the big draws they are today. Especially Iron-man. Yeah he had his own show but he was still pretty B-list.

They already had Hawk and Dove.

>Nah. Stewart's the best Lantern for JL. That's why the cartoon worked so well.
It really didn't. John was the most boring man on the team which included Wonder Woman, Batman, and Martian Manhunter. His most memorable episode was just an adaptation of a Hal Jordan story.
>>
>>147143016
Just have Batman or Superman. Or sometimes Batman and Superman.
Nobody actually likes Wonder Woman all that much.
>>
>>147148024
I don't think people understand how integral the Art Deco-ness of it all was crucial to this thing's success. It's a really subtle way to suggest links to "the iconic" and "enduring power."

He was the rock, without being a boy scout. One of the closest to normal civilian life when dealing with a literal demi-god, a billionaire, and multiple aliens.

Greetings, /co/. /k/ here.

Downloaded all DCAU shows (from Batman TAS to JLU and Batman Beyond) ages ago, but in shit divx quality.

Where I can download all it again now, but with decent MKV quality, like >>147148887 + english subtitles?

Really wanna keep it for the future.
>>
>>147139071

>>147140255
A cool thing about the show is it's done like a choose your own adventure where viewers vote on what happens next.

for example these are the votes for the most recent episode

Which hero will step forward and take responsibility for the death of Doctor Fate?
>Batman
>Wonder Woman
>Superman

What would Batman do if he could go to the moment before his parents died?
>Kill their killer
>Take the bullets
>>
>>147139071
Do you really want Woketice League 2025?
>>

One of them was a huge John fan. It wasn't just that he was in the show to make it more colorful he was one of the most prominant characters in the early seasons. He was in basically every story arc and if he wasn't in episode 1 he was in the second episode of it. I'm struggling to think of an story he wasn't in, the only one that comes to mind was the Solomon Grundy one with Aquaman and Doctor Fate which only had Supes WW and Hawkgirl

I would rather just watch rewatch JL+JLU again for the 14th time than watch whatever total garbage shit would result if Warner tried to replicate the DCAU in the current year or, in the worst case scenario, attempt to actually continue it.
