>>147143172The watchman movie while having to cut some things like the amazing pirate story, is a good adaptation that actually improved two things. One Nite Owl seeing Roarsach die and going mental over his death, instead of just having sex and not caring that Roarsach vanished without a trace. Two making Dr. Manhattan the threat instead of giant squid monsters. Granted for the time the comic book came out the giant squid things worked great, but for the modern audience of the time when the movie came out the energy made more sense.
