Literally know nothing about whatever this is tying into or whatever else is around this happening, but I figured it looked fun so why?

That intro certainly sounds convoluted enough to be a classic X-Men story. Learning a lot of Rogue's backstory too.

Presumably the Savage Land took her powers, but I guess they're not "gone" gone, they're just not "working" so she can still relive the memories.

I swear that Marvel is doing this as damage control over the entire Gambit shitshow from the TV Show and end with Rogue and Magneto blueballing each other out of respect.

Tits. Ass. Too little. Too late.
>>
>>147145446
Nah. That was solved already with Rogue explicitly saying nothing happened between them and Antarctica was her first. It's the show that changed that and fucked up.
It's the other way around. Marvel seems to like these two together for some reason. Latest "Rogue and Gambit" was awful, but still there is chance to have adventures of them both together. I think last year we had Xtreme Xmen when they were living together in California.
I suppose Marvel simply doesn't like Gambit despite he's one of their most popular mutants.
Truth is, despite people like Rogue, she doesn't really sells much alone unless Gambit's part of it. He's a much stronger seller.

>the entire Gambit shitshow from the TV Show
...I don't even remembered that, I don't think general audiences remember Gambit as anything except the throwaway funny Frenchman from Deadpool 3. And to a lesser degree, the boyfriend in X-Men '97.

Anyway, what Magneto really needs is a swift kick in the dick for aiding and abetting Krakoa. Just like everyone else who threw in their lot with it.
>>
>>147146258
Gambit's one of the most popular x-men since the 90s. Many of the people who watched the original show said that Gambit was their fav.

The last one, do they know xmen fans can count and she's meant to be a minor there, right? I know the writer said "acshually, she's in her 20s", but we can count. Lmao.
