Have the DC Finest books been successful?
>>147146514I dunno but I'm probably gonna buy the gorilla comicHe monke
>>147146580Me too. I fucking love monkeys.
>>147146514I’ll buy the monkey one and Metamorpho one when it comes out If they do ambush bug I’ll buy that too
>>147146672It looks like in some cases they're just taking an omnibus and splitting it in half. That's what they're doing for Zero Hour. I really like that, because I'd rather buy two of these than one omnibus. Saves money, and it's easier to read. I was going to get that Ostrander Suicide Squad omnibus that's coming out, but I decided to order the Suicide Squad DC Finest, and hopefully they'll come out with a second volume soon after to complete the content of the omni.
>>147146514Don't careNot reading
>>147146514No one knows, they seem to be doing okay on IST
>>147146514I don't know
>>147146514No, they cost too much. The compact line has done much better because of the price point.
>>147146514Ah fiction, the only place where the theory of evolution is actually true.
>>147146580>>147146623They're APES
>>147149323What's the difference? They all go "ook" at the end of the day.
>>147146514I've bought a few >>147146834Ditto. I really hate how much of a hold the omnibus format has on people. I get it's fancy and hardcover but the Epic and now Finest lines are just so much more readable and I really wish marvel and dc would double down on that instead of catering to people who just want shelf candy.
>>147149323I hate every ape I see, from chimpan-a, to chimpan-z.
>>147149295Yeah the Compacts are for casuals. But I find that the Finest books are cheap enough that I can buy one blind and feel comfortable. Never read 50's Flash before, but I'll check it out, you know?
>>147149295You can get them for 20 odd bucks. They're a helluva lot cheap than getting a clunky over priced omnibus. >>147149723Flash is fun. I also got the silver age Green Lantern book they put out.
