Was there ever a cartoon that had the balls ReBoot did changed the entire tone of the show? Can we talk about how good reboot season 3 was?

>when they got rid of censors everything became a scifi war story with sexy women with guns and violence (they werent allowed to give dot boobs, show guns or even say the word hockey.)
>Xfiles episodes happened with Gillian Anderson because she was such a big fan and aliens start invading
>Megabyte fucking threw bob to thet internet effectively killing him off
>Enzo, the annoying kid self insert character struggled hard fighting things like Ash from Evil Dead but fucking lost to Mortal Kombat Satan by getting his head squished land got aged up to a badass
>but it was a legitimate character arc and not 2 edgy 4 u tryhard bullshit
>suddenly a serious war story and space pirate story
>Megabyte rips Phongs head off to interrogates him
>whatever the fuck was going on with Hexadecimal
>Enzo has to decide if he wants to kill Megabyte or not
Goddamn I still haven't seen anything like this. The closest was maybe Gurren Lagann when Kamina died but that wasn't as serious or good as ReBoot. I saw it at the perfect time too (hitting puberty lol)
