Where do you even start with this guy?Are any of his stories even worth looking at?Mostly I just like the suit and think the idea of an edgy 90s style Spider-Man is neat but from the little I've heard he seems to have a somewhat troubled publication history.
>>147152502Ben's really not very edgy at all. He was actually less edgy than Peter at the time, that was the whole point
>>147152512Oh but for reading recs I'd say Spider-Man: Lost Years and Spider-Man: Redemption. Both are top tier stories and can be read fairly standalone from the rest of the Clone Saga
>>147152512Oh didn't he become a villain at some point? I kind of just assumed he would be on the edgier side I guess. It wasn't really a make or break thing for me anyway.>>147152532But thanks I'll look into them. Hoping they delve into his identity crisis as a clone unless that had already been done to death by the time those came out.
>>147152502God I wish they would put that suit in rivals
>>147152575>Oh didn't he become a villain at some point?A good two decades later> Hoping they delve into his identity crisis as a cloneLost Years is very much in that ballpark. Issue #0 is all the stuff immediately after he discovered he was a clone. You might also want to check out some of the early Clone Saga stories too before it becomes messy for that as well. Namely Power and Responsibility, the Exile Returns, and Web of Life. The Exile Returns is when Ben first puts on the Scarlet Spider suit
>>147152512>I am.... le spider!God that character arc was so cringe.
>>147152502I enjoyed the 90s run where Peter was depowered and Ben was Spider-Man for a while. I don't really like what it led to, but Ben's outfit was cool and it was fun to see Peter taking on a heroic role as an ordinary person.
>>147152502Kaine's the edgy one.
>>147152502you dont
>>147152593same
>>147152502>Where do you even start with this guy? With Issue No. 1, silly!
Is that a b8? Ben is even more jokey than Peter.
>>147157099Where do you even find it?
