ITT: Weird cartoons that ONLY you remember
>>147154074oh yea, they had a phantom of the opera thing going where he'd magically change the school into the theme of the week
>>147154074I actually do remember this show but literally only the green rat dude. For some reason he's never once left my memory even though he's not a particularly good or memorable design.
>>147154074This series has a very interesting plot. It was a Star Trek parody where the entire population of earth was evacuated to another planet, but the ship containing all of earth's dogs gets lost in middle of the travel and so a team of kids goes on a mission to try finding them
>>147154074How did artist draw the perfect circle in their noses??
>>147154461Assuming the show is not digital it would be this:
>>147154461The Animators were schizophrenic. No, but if you look through, they're not perfect.
>>147154671I've only ever owned one that properly held the pencil in place and didn't swivel around everywhere
>>14715540390% of them are cheap garbage, you need to get one with a locking mechanism or a tight hinge.
>>147154074Why a flying rhino? Why Junior high?
>>147154074I only know it from that scene where the villainess is made fat cause she absorbed too much power or something
>>147156117Nobody knows
>>147154074
>>147156117>Why a flying rhino? The Principal is a Rhino and a retired airplane pilot. Junior high is just another name for a middle school.
>>147154074I liked the OP theme
>>147154352This looks weirdly familar to me
>>147154074https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bV9I1L9PVqM&ab_channel=Maxie%27sFattyCrap
>>147154074I'm cheating because it's sort of a webcartoon and it's popular in Poland, but outside of that I don't think anyone cares for it, and few know of it's existence.
>>147154074Even though I clearly remember enjoying this show a lot, I barely remember anything about it besides the "villain" being an old student with a cool computer.
>>147154074weird
I used to watch this shitty (Canadian?) cartoon about police animals. Wasn't any good but the name eluded me for years until someone mentioned it here. I thought I was either dreaming it or had Swat Kats mixed up with Hose Hounds, another shitty Canadian cartoon.Absolutely nothing interesting about this show, except for the fact that the English version is completely lost and only the French one exists.
>>147154279Wait, THIS is what this guy is from? Holy shit, I've remembered this guy for years and thought he was from Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School or Care Bears or something.
>only 1 post mentioning this movie on the archive
>>147158150>Hose Hounds, another shitty Canadian cartoon.Shouldn't that be Hoser Hounds?
You know the show's going to be weird when they put it on either an absurdly early or absurdly late timeslot. Like, near the beginning of day broadcast at 5 in the morning.
>>147158537Show in question, I forgot to put it up
>>147158554This show was horrifying.
>>147156394It used to air on channel 9 I think in Oz. One of the few non-ABC animated series alongside Fairytale Detectives.
My cable TV as a kid was kind of shitty and cut off at Channel 39, but there were a few past that that still worked and picked up some kind of reception. One of them was Channel 96 which seemed to just be another TV guide channel that showed you what was on - albeit for a different provider than the one I had. The visuals were horrible and distorted from static, but in the top right corner they showed random cartoons.Whatever the fuck this show is, it exclusively existed in that top corner of Channel 96. Until someone posted a picture of it here years ago, I thought it was a Candle Cove-esque hallucination.
>>147154074There's one for every cartoon (that account's actually kinda depressing, her mom died and her dad got cancer)https://www.deviantart.com/shadows-play/art/Flying-Rhino-Junior-High-dolls-400204043
>>147154461He's like Spongebob, he drew fully renedered high quality designs before erasing the details until he got perfect circles.
>>147159349I thought it was funny as hell as a kid, not sure how it'd hold up now.I remember the ending theme being really snazzy.
>>147156441Why did they forget to color the classroom?
>>147154074>>147159349>>147159680i did see these on tv in Canada.
>>147154074I could never remember the name of this, but I remember the bad guy? being a little dork with a hat and a cape and I think there was an episode where he talked about how he was actually the creator of pong
>>147160494the phantom yeah, he was this short fat nerd who dressed like Darkwing Duck
I remember this show having an episode where one of the planes finds a big hangar in the sky, and they try to tell one of the other planes but they don't believe them, but eventually that plane sees it too and realizes that it's real, and the moral is that you should sometimes believe in things without demanding to see them yourself. It was such a blatant metaphor for religion I don't know how it got into a PBS show.
>>147154074This looks very Canadian
>>147160728I don't know why you're acting surprised, the very existence of this thing proves that religion is real by sheer virtue of the fact that it looks like something that could only be birthed from the depths of hell itself
>>147154074This show is way nicer than you'd expect. I think it was based on educational books?
>>147160879Holy fuck.
>>147158554I fucking hated this show
I mostly remember it for the attrocious Finnish dub.
>>147160893no.......
>>147160893>>147160879...What the fuck. These are so obscure they aren't even on the Wikipedia page for the show. Never in a million years would I have thought that this cartoon was based on a a bunch of activity books.I do remember it being a good cartoon too.
>>147161006Yeah it's VERY hard to find information on them. Most of the books I presume predate the show but I can't actually be sure of that because the information on them is so scarce.
>>147160968lol they sucked all the soul outta the rhino
>>147160968TURN ON THE TV THEY HIT THE PENTAGONTHEY HIT THE FUCKING PENTAGONTURN ON THE TV IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT CHANNEL
>>147159549The Phantom's themed schemes will generally change how the school looks to match (while the Phantom's room remains the same), so that was probably a Comic Book-style version of the school.
>>147161451Why's he kinda...
>>147154074i would but i forgot
>>147154671>filenamethat's a compass dude. not a protractor.
>>147161579Kinda what?
>>147162943Thanks for the correction.I always bought these things in a set, so I never remembered the real name for them.
>>147159680How many times did Canada make the same>Spooky people living in a big haunted mansion on the side of a cliff?I've seen three now but this is new.
>>147164078He kinda is.
I thought I had the perfect barely remembered example but it turns out it was actually /a/ the whole time. Never had that happen before.
>>147154074There was some old British cartoon where the mom goes "it's blowjob time!" and blows the dad in some car. You don't see any genitals or anything but Western cartoons that get oddly sexual are my fetish so I hope to find it again some day.
>>147154074>CRO WAS A SMART BOY>HAD A LOT ON THE BALL>*guitar riff*
>>147164911the sabretooth cat was hot
>>147164541>VHSes-your-sister-rented-core
Feintly remember getting headaces from it.
>>147165695ha, sounds pretty intense! at least it made a lasting impression
>>147164611
>>147154074A cartoon about kid, his dog and mouse riding on a bike and solving detective mysteries. One anon got me a pic but no name. But I no longer have the pic
>>147167229https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNZCNHZLF1A&list=PLLhOnau-tupQAOYyXBjUAC6utjuNfuz9QIts on youtube. Its still as great as I remember.
>>147164541reminds me of Happy Ness
