Fosters, Ed Edd n Eddy, Invader ZIM, Catscratch, Johnny Bravo, Camp Lazlo, Billy & Mandy, All Grown Up!, later eps of PPG and Dexter's Lab, etc. The reboot sticks out so aggressively because the overall tone in cartoons has shifted into being so sanded down and sanitized but The Proud Family did NOT change, So when you look at Penny's friends compared to fucking Craig of the Creek, you get whiplash.

She got pregnant from one guy and regarded him as a deadbeat because he left her for another woman. Then she got pregnant from a guy who was already planning to marry or he was already married to another woman. I've heard contradictory stories. Then she went back to the first guy and got pregnant from the first one, while she was dating both of them at the same time. Then she started dating my dad at the same time as the other two while she was pregnant from the first man. (My dad was also a violent crackhead at the time, but he's been clean for more of what I can remember.) My mom's first two kids were mostly grown, but then my dad stepped up and became the primary father to my brother, and then they had me.My dad also has several other kids from previous marriages, one of which has been in prison for as long as I can remember for doing armed robbery with one of my other brothers, but the oldest one took all the blame. He also got cucked while in the military during the tail end of Vietnam and was tricked into paying child support for a daughter that was never his. You might think it's weird the crackhead was the one who "stepped up," but in context, the other men my mom were with, including several ones I didn't mention because they never had kids, were higher value men so they chose to step up and be the fathers with the children of women they liked more than my mom.
