How are we feeling about Immortal Thor compared to Immortal Hulk? I'm getting kind of bored of Roxxon stuff and just wish they'd move onto something else or do something more interesting but aside from that enjoying it quite a lot.
its woke garbage but at least we didnt have a black womyn tell thor she has suffered far more than he ever did because her house was wrecked
>>147174113i havent read either but ive heard good things about immortal hulk. i havent read a thor run since 2008 JMS
im so tired of comic books having one artist do the covers and they look awesome and have someone else do the interiors.
Haven't read, what's the gimmick with this comic? Immortal hulk got pretty wild.
>>147175088expanding on Norse myth and bringing out obscure JIM characters
>>147174113I'm the opposite, I love the Roxxon stuff and seeing Thor's earthbased villains be used in a more fleshed out manner with some solid interaction with each other.
>>147174113Pretty sure it’s too soon to tell but does he get any crazy power ups like Hulk did or is he toning it down a bit?
>>147175088Gaea released the elder god version of the Norse Gods and Thor is trying to stop it
>>147175187>does he get any crazy power ups like Hulk did or is he toning it down a bit?He has a belt containing the powers of Rune Thor and he drained Zeus of his lighting on top of having the odinforce as the current All-Father
>>147174113it's alright better than cates run but when the artist change to the new one was a a bit of downturn in it's qualityi think it's cromulent enough but it's just lacking something
I think it is given overly generous praise simply for not being as awful as the last 10-15 years of Thor
>>147174113The Roxxon stuff is literally the only interesting part of this comic. All the fantasy stuff has been as dull as bricks.Agger is based and an incredibly entertaining villain
I think I like Immortal Hulk better but perhaps Immortal Thor will be better read collectively. That's not to say this is a bad Thor run, probably the first time I've liked the book since JMS. I'm just not so sure the stuff with the Utgar ties in well enough with the Dario Agger stuff
So how do the Utgar fit in the cosmic scheme of things?
>>147175758I think they are just Elder Gods who fled to their own dimension when Gaea got sick of them all and created the DemogorgeAnd because history rhymes Utgard Loki and Utgard Thor's roles were repeated by the AsgardiansThe turning Wheel and all that
>>147174113it's fine but it's really suffering from not having a consistent artist
>>147174113It's shit
>>147175070It is extremely common. Part of why you have the infamous thing of non-indicative covers for the plot as well.
>>147174113The art sucks so I'll probably never read it.
