Would you read/watch a comic/cartoon with a similar setting to Planet of the Apes?

A comic set in America?
>>
>>147175091
Wasn't there a Planet of the Apes comic?
>Would you read/watch a comic/cartoon with a similar setting to Planet of the Apes?
Only if you put cute, waifu-able monkey girls in it
>>
>>147175116
Yes. It's similar in concept to the original book, but does things a bit differently. Actually, I think there is a current run of comics for Planet of the Apes as well, tied more to the recent movies.
>>
You think Kamandi ever fucked a monkey girl.

Ngl, had a bit of a crush on Zira, when I first watched the original movie when I was a kid.

The punchline isn't the funny part. The funny part is the sheer consistency that thirdies repeat this joke.

OK.

How is it a joke? POTA is set in America, New York specifically. The first movie has the Statue of Liberty and the second takes place in a New York subway system for half of it

Depending on the ape designs it's a definite maybe. As endearing as their 60s designs are it's very clear that wasn't what they were SUPPOSED to look like, just imagine the absurdity of them walking around in their usual outfits with normal-ish ape proportions. That visionary comic came close, though it's just bizarro Earth.

So did he draw any....female apes yet?
>>

The joke is that black people call the film racist and white liberals call it a racial allegory and both do this without a hint of irony.
