The writing is Joss Whedon mindset tier trash and his artstyle is a shitty relic of 80s/90s comedy cartoons that should have never come back.Maxwell Atoms, Vivziepop, Rebecca Sugar, Genndy Tartavosky, Craig McCracken, Lauren Faust, Alex Hirsch, Stephen Hillenburger, Jhonen Vasquez and Butch Hartman take more risks and have more autistic integrity than a tryhard talentless hack who makes unfunny cartoons designed to sell toys and promote woke propaganda to braindead children.

Like the writing team behind PPG was better than the writing team behind Wonder Over Yonder and both were Craig McCracken shows. In fact, PPG's writing team did Horse Show and it was funny AF for a couple of seasons. That was funnier than WOY too. Rocko's Modern Life was so damn great. Tom Kenny was fresh so you weren't sick of his voice being everywhere, there was gross stuff but it wasn't just about the gross stuff, and it wasn't about kids in school but just guys doing stuff. Camp Lazlo was trash. It sucked that they looked like Rocko funny talking animals but their jokes weren't Rocko funny. The first 3 seasons of SpongeBob are Rocko funny and that's why it's a cultural phenomenon and Camp Lazlo is basically forgotten. Seriously, when's the last time you really wanted to see it? But both were by Joel Murray. Then he made that Rocko Netflix thing that was so fucking gross. The plot was demanding the original creators work in the reboot when he probably begged for the gig. It wasn't Rocko funny, it wasn't SpongeBob funny, it just wasn't funny. Because Murray is only funny when funny people put "words in the bubbles" so to speak. So just because Rocko was gold doesn't mean Camp Lazlo is too.
