Do longform webcomics give any of you guys this sense of melancholy? I'm not ashamed to admit that I like what OOPS is about but it's going to be literal decades before there's enough story content for (shit to happen). Me, I want answers on the post apocalyptic implied backstory of the setting, I want to see if Kass is going to get a happy ending or not, and whether or not he's stuck forever as a ratbird, fated to be outlived by all his friends. And it's not like most of the furshit comics I read DON'T upload consistently, they stick to the weekly bit for literal decades. But it just kinda stinks that we're not going to get the full product for years and years, even if there was a billion dollars backing it, because these indie creators physically do not have the stamina or output to make that happen.

Well, here's a question - what even would be the ideal ending you'd have in mind for Kass? Disregarding all the political machinations which clearly implies a larger scope plot, what's the ideal ending you'd have in mind for Kass himself? All the alternate ending shit usually just has him spreading his legs for Elim or becoming a matriarch like Viz, but outside of the tranny analogue shit there, that shit sounds depressing to me. Even if it's medieval times and people get fucked over irreparably for stupid reasons, there's something more visceral about having your entire species and role in life changed. I'd like for him to somehow become human again but I doubt that'll happen due to Val's own tastes, fanbase, and just the convenience of such a thing even existing.

They could wake up people from cyrosleep and shit kicks off, Pastel City style. But they're not going to put on Star Trek uniforms and zip off into the cosmos. If the sci-fi theories are correct I could *maybe* see them boarding a colony ship at the very end of the comic and setting off on a "and new adventures were had" ending, but it's a slow comic, I don't think there'll be any crazy twists beyond what's already been seeded.
