The actual number of frames though is conservative. This is an obvious tradeoff made to reduce probably cost and crunch. I don't dislike it personally though, I might dedicate more frames in slightly different areas but I don't think its a fundamentals mistake to keep frames low and limit character movements to only when necessary. This isn't Violet Evergarden or Vampire Hunter D, they don't have an entire studio of animators crunching around the clock, nor are they going to spend ten entire years to finish the animation.
