File Factory recently redid their site design. I'm sure they added advertising or some annoying thing that Ublock Origin or my Java Script blocker(s) or one of my other extensions is blocking. In any event, I wouldn't waste time using FF to download 0-Day DC, I only ever use it to get the Golden Age scans like the recent HD re-scans of Our Fighting Forces, which I ended up having to grab individually from SS, and since I was watching two hours of an NCAA championship competition, it was not big deal, but if I'd been busier, it becomes annoying.

My main point in commenting was that I was surprised hiromoot un-perma-banned FF, I noticed he also un-perma Loser Cloud some months ago.

It's a "Local Comic Shop Day Exclusive" Ashcan - probably only physical since it's not even on the Ultra tier at DCU Infinite.

I can't be fussed to see if it's at Bezolandia but an ashcan isn't necessarily released for common commercial sale purpose I really doubt it's there either and not on DC's own site. It might get on Crapazom and DCU Infinite eventually the same way the Batman Day and FCBD books get posted, but apparently they don't want to PO the Direct Market sellers, especially DC after the whole Krypto Adventure Comic Gold Ticket thing.

Someone will probably grab it at an LCS or from a review copy, and eventually scan it, but I doubt you'll find it on-line today or even this week. I'm annoyed since I hit the two best stores yesterday without even thinking about this and probably won't waste time going to either anytime soon.

I could only find The Cartoon History of the Universe - Volumes 8-13 - From the Springtime of China to the Fall of Rome (1994) (Digital) (phillywilly-Empire).cbr

Because it's mostly releases by imprints like Doubleday, or Harper Perennial in, for example, the case of The Cartoon Guide to Genetics, which was issued in 1991 and if it ever made it to Comixology (which wasn't a thing, essentially before 2010), it's not what many folks were ripping. Gonick has, for example, 20 books in print currently listed for sale at Barnes and Noble, but only four are listed as ebooks or nook books (and generally if something is listed as a Nook, it's also on Kindle, GooglePlay, iBooks, Izneo, etc. - or all the general places that most rippers, including anons, get their rips from). I like B&N because it's easy to see what's in print and what of that is available electronically, as opposed to the shitty search engine at Crapazom.

He does actually have about five books that could be ripped from Kindle and not expensive at that, but presumably no one wants to do them. The Cartoon Guide to Geometry is on Hoopla, so you should post at The Long Box and see if someone wants to rip that and the other Gonick book that's on that site.

SirReal scanned all the early Gonick Cartoon history of the world comics from RipOff decades ago. Not very high quality but usable. Pretty much everything he has done has been scanned/digitized. I'm surprised you can't find them. Like we been telling others, you have to find more sites, not just rely on anna/libgen/getco. Ever heard of Anonimouse for example?

“Old cartoonists never die. They just erase away…” This was one of Mort Walker’s favorite sayings, and until his final days, he lived by his motto, engaging millions of readers through his beloved comics. Walker had the longest tenure of any cartoonist on his original creation in the history of comics. He produced Beetle Bailey for 67 years, 3 months and 12 days – that’s 24,576 strips. He penciled his last week of daily strips on December 16, 2017.

Mort Walker's Beetle Bailey: 75 Years of Smiles is a coffee table retrospective commemorating Mort Walker’s long and dedicated commitment to cartooning, spotlighting the anniversary of his most popular and beloved creation. In addition to the 75 Sunday pages reproduced from color syndicate proofs, 135 daily and Sunday strips scanned from original artwork, and close to 200 additional images, this beautifully designed volume, impeccably researched and written by his son Brian, also includes rare photographs, historic debut character appearances, syndicate promotional materials, posters, merchandise, personal drawings and memorabilia from the family archives, as well as biographical sketches and anecdotes. Dubbed “The Dean of American Cartooning,” Walker was one of the most prolific cartoonists in the comics business, with the creation of nine different syndicated strips during his lifetime, including Beetle Bailey, one of the most widely syndicated strips in the world (Fantagraphics: 276 pages).
