It's more elegantly simple than the original book, and it doesn't have shit like the hunter cackling evilly as he brutally massacres like 12 animals at once. The movie is just about the cycle of life, as told by an animal.That was actually why I disliked the Bambi 2 movie as well. The first Bambi movie is about animals dealing with animal problems, but the characters seemed too humanized in the book and in Bambi 2 IMO. Bambi 2 and the book are about animals dealing with human problems like school bullies and anti-Semitism, respectively.
