Lesser known webcomic threadPost lesser known or obscure comics Please only comics that are ether finished or have updated this year and just don't self promote
Taking the opportunity to talk about "Coolest Kid in Town".It's a genuinely fun slice-of-life comedy series about some goobers trying to go through high school life. The protagonists are very fun, the character designs are unique and the art is surprisingly very good and solid.https://tapas.io/series/Coolest-Kid-In-Town/info
No one talks about Girl Genius even though it’s still going.Might be it’s effective an indie comic that just happens to be online.
>>151640945There was already a thread up.>>151632890whats the difference between them?
>>151641086Didn't see it lol
>>151641086I think this is a thread that is more dedicated to recent, obscure webcomics that are still updating and ongoing. The thing with the other thread is that it keeps up with webcomics posted before a certain timespan, which is understandable to avoid shilling. But at the same time, quite some of the webcomics posted there are no longer updating for years.I like this idea, because it gives the generation of webcomics artists of today the opportunity to get a spotlight. And /co/ needs more webcomic threads as well.
Crossposting a comic. This one’s on hiatus, but I think it updated within the last year.>>151634459>DeathSitter is one of my favorites. Kinda hard to explain the plot in a no spoiler way, so I’ll just copy paste the official summary.>>A deadbeat drug addict with seemingly supernatural luck gets a job babysitting the daughter of the city's local grim reaper>https://www.webtoons.com/en/canvas/deathsitter/deathsitter/viewer?title_no=293285&episode_no=1
>>151640986>No one talks about Girl Genius even though it’s still going.>Might be it’s effective an indie comic that just happens to be online. It's won multiple Hugo awards and is in the library of congress. It's not really lesser known.
Some webcomics I follow:>Keith and Jeremy's Mythical Mysteries>>Keith Davis and Jeremy Dubois are two talented, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed boy detectives determined to make a name for themselves. They'll take on any case. Even the supernatural ones.>Trinity Saga>>Lucy has always been the smoothest sweet-talker in the Enigma. From landing high-profile deals with clients, to slipping out of the stickiest situations - she's always managed to find the right words at the right time. But not today. >Renata Tate: Goddess for Hire>>Once a beloved goddess, Renata is now stuck selling miracles to make ends meet... and her clients are anything but grateful. With a team of eccentric magical girls by her side, she tackles absurd requests, battles monsters, and faces off against sinister forces threatening her world. But reclaiming her godhood won’t be easy when pop culture slander, rival magical merch, and her own chaotic past keep getting in the way. Divine power meets mortal hustle.>The Monkey Prince and the Five Treasures>>A magic monkey, a flaming girl, five hidden magical treasures and dark forces, plotting in the dark! The legendary Sun Wukong, the great Sage, the Monkey King! For him, every single challenge would be a breeze of air......But we're talking about Chiliang, his little wild nephew. Buddha had chosen him to find the five magical treasures of a misteryous mage, hidden all around the entire world. What could possibly go wrong? Follow Chiliang in a journey full of demons, new friends, magical creatures.>Anno Arcana>>This world had been like yours for all of it's history. Devoid of any and all arcane energies. This changed 15 years ago when a deal was struck and a price was paid. Soon, the magic began to ferment within this world This seed of magic has now fully bloomed, forcing this world into a rapid scramble to gather as many magical creatures and exotic mystics on their side as they can. Starting a new arms race, and a new era, Anno Arcana.
>>151640945SAINT is so good! Genuinely great webcomic, deserve much more love than it has.
I found out about this comic but I don't think I see threads on /co/ about Clown Corps, which is unusual because I know this updates at a decent clip and the art is pretty appealing.
>>151640980love these two lil niggas like you wouldn't believe
>>151642797Oh yeah, I remember this one! Gave it a look, was alright, I'd say. Nice art.
Okay this one is a weird one but when I read it I loved the shit out of it. Imagine my surprise to see that it's STILL fucking going, I'm going to have to catch up to it.>Darths and DroidsA very strange webcomic that uses screenshots of the Star Wars series but re-contextualizes the whole plot as a TTRPG played by a group of friends. There was a different comic with the same idea but for LOTR called DM of the Rings but that one is finished.
>>151643183I will not lie, this is quite experimental I'd say at least.
Was mentioned in the prior thread, but Topside Tales is a genuine recommendation.
>>151642797it's so hard to find an action webcomic that has well drawn fights
>>151643183there's a couple write threads from /tg/ with a similar premise.
>>151643924Do you just want action comics or any type of comics with good drawn fights?
>>151644471Full action, don't care if it's power fantasy or furshit
>>151644664I was asking because I've seen memorable action scenes in comics where action wasn't the main focus (or wasn't the only focus).
>>151644664Heir's Game is a western webtoon. The earlier parts centers around a duels in a tournament where the winner gets to become a nobles bodyguard. It had some memorable action scenes. Off the top of my head:You see someone get stabbed in the face and and another person gets a meat cleaver swung through their arm during one duel. You get to see a close up of someones fingers getting cut off in one fight. However it's also a BL drama/romance comic and It's been a few years, so I don't remember how much action there was vs how much drama. >When a new heir to the duchy of Belluna comes of age, there is held the Heir's Game: a brutal series of duels to determine the heir's bodyguard. When Theuden, the new heir, meets Isran, a quiet duelist with a mysterious past, their love will threaten to change everything.https://www.webtoons.com/en/drama/heirs-game/episode-0-heirs-game/viewer?title_no=1445&episode_no=1

I'm glad to see a thread like this on /co/ cause I won't lie anons as a guy who's been making webcomics for a while? It fucking SUCKS right now if you wanna get people to read or find your stuff. Twitter's fuckery has made it where if you hadn't gained a big following in past ten years then good luck now. You have to be really tricky to navigate with advertising your stuff on Reddit cause despite so many art/creative subs there are? Alot are ban happy if you post a link to your work. Instagram and Tiktok are another time sink meaning on top of working on your Webcomic you'll have to start doing video editing too. It's not helped that the search on Google is fucky too so lord help you if anyone will find your site (if you've got one) the normal way. It is cool to see people here highlighting stuff that's not-K6BD for hundredth time cause christ it's very difficult out there for new webcomics.
>>151640980Started reading this a bit ago and I love it
>>151640945>>151642752>SAINT is so good! Genuinely great webcomic, deserve much more love than it has.A useful tip: If you are talking about an less famous story (especially one that has a single commonly used word for the name), you should probably link the story you are talking about.I found multiple stories with similar names:https://www.webtoons.com/en/canvas/saint/list?title_no=701375https://www.saintforrent.com/comic/the-cloverhouse-innhttps://www.webtoons.com/en/canvas/saint/list?title_no=872900But I think this is the one OP was talking about:https://tapas.io/series/SAiNT1/info
>>151640945Bittersweet Candy Bowl and Bleating Heart.
>>151644994I'm not too surprised given that when people self-promote they can be really obnoxious about it. The obnoxious people ruin it for everyone, because now you don't have people capable of casually talking about a webcomic without being accused of being a shill in most places. It's shilling to promote anything lately though, it's just kind of the nature of the board so fuck it. If you're going to share about a comic at least do it right. I think people should link the comic if they're promoting in here and maybe a blurb about it or why they want to mention it specifically. That way we can avoid situations like: >>151645246>>151645861BCB literally gets threads here every update man (I follow it). But I haven't heard of that second one. Can you add anything about it like a picture of a panel or a summary?
>>151645861I heard of bleating heart. I only read like the first chapter or something. I have to catch up with it.>>151645905>>151645905>Can you add anything about it like a picture of a panel or a summary?Should you add your own summary and comments or just copy paste the official blurbs?
>>151645946I like the personalized nature of someone describing the comic over the official blurb but I don't think there's anything wrong with doing the official one if it's straightforward enough.
>>151640945That one webcomic about a guy who sees a giant fly monster in his house and gets kidnapped and turned into one scarred me as a kid

>>151646040This is it. I think it was posted in this very board years ago and it scared the shit out of kid me
>>151646226>Where’s saints creator anyway? He just got finished co-commenting the latest /crab/ OCT! The creator is very much active and making art!
>>151644994I haven't checked on Ten Earth Shattering Blows in forever (I started it after some dedicated shill story timed it for a bit), but I forgive a lot of webcomic shills cause it's true: what are they supposed to do nowadays? I barely even remember how I discovered all that cringe old shit I used to read. Some combination of webrings, 00's wacky crossovers, and "top webcomics" aggregators. But I have no clue if that stuff is anyway vibrant any more.I think the demographics of webcomics just aged. As people get older, they get set in their ways. I used to hunger to read new shit. Now I barely even try.A sad state of affairs.
>>151645969I wonder If should write another summary for the comic I posted. >>151641350I don’t know if the default blurb sells people on stuff, since it’s a little vague though accurate.Should we talk about genre too? It’s a horror comedy. Maybe romance? Not sure.Anyways….a different example of a vague blurb on a different comic I like is hello from halo head:https://halo-head.com/about/>Hello From Halo Head is an exploration of the multitudes a person experiences as a response to trauma. Also cartoon animal adventures. I promise it’s mostly funny. it’s a trauma comedy! a TRAUMEDY!!!!That doesn’t really tell you what’s going on.First page:https://halo-head.com/comic/welcome-to-halo-head/But unlike the other one, Its a bit easier for me to describe without spoilers:I would describe it as interpersonal drama with elements of mystery. It takes place in either a pocket dimension and/or someone mindscape (not a spoiler since this is implied on first page). Follows Chloe and clair, and the anthropomorphic animal people that clair seems to have created.
>>151646767>I haven't checked on Ten Earth Shattering Blows in forever (I started it after some dedicated shill story timed it for a bit), but I forgive a lot of webcomic shills cause it's true: what are they supposed to do nowadays? Are you talking about people who shill their own comics? Or fans who are shilling the comics they are fans of?
>>151646804Either or. Though obviously it'd be smart to at least have the veneer of the latter if you're the former. I can't remember what, if anything, made Ten Earth Shattering Blows give off the whiff of self shilling (perhaps a lack of autistic praise from it by the OP in a way that makes it clear they don't realize doing this would be even worse).
>>151634409>A useful tip for those of you on webtoons. If you are on Desktop you can get around the login gate on webtoons which are labled for "mature audience".>When you get to this pop up (as shown in pic related), click Yes then quickly press the Esc key on your keyboard.>This stops the page from reloading and taking you to the login page. The pop up will disappear and you can continue reading.Reposting this tip. Something similar might work in mobile browsers as well.
Before I go to bed I'll bring up Rooted Together because things are happening in it and its on my bookmark list as one of the things I follow most recently updated. It's about a farmboy finding some plant fey thing in the woods he brings home with him as the main event but there's a sort of slice of life-y nature of it too. At least until recently when shit got a bit real.>https://tapas.io/series/Rooted-Together/info>>151646767Back in the day /co/ would have more web/co/mics to read you could find threads for. Dedicated storytimers for indie comics used to draw some eyes, at least before they became practically considered shill activity itself. You don't see that attitude with comic storytimes. Hell, I very recently read the Unico storytimes and it was a pretty civil thread. Meanwhile I recall checking out a thread about comic with actual catgirls being bioengineered to serve as therapy aids for mentally ill people a while ago getting slammed for shill activity.
>>151646841If I get the time (and in some cases figure out how to download images in a neat way from webtoons). I have a few webcomics I'd like to story time.in what cases do I need to worry about people accusing me of being the former?
>>151646865huh I didn't realize you could spoiler text without spoilering the image as well.testing test.
>>151640945I like E-Gor but its been in hiatus since July of last year. https://globalcomix.com/c/e-gor
>>151645861I despise Candy Bowl because it only serves as a reminder for all the actually good webcomics that died out while that tripe is still trucking along.
>>151646865> Meanwhile I recall checking out a thread about comic with actual catgirls being bioengineered to serve as therapy aids for mentally ill people a while ago getting slammed for shill activityThat’s another one of my favorite webcomics. It’s called “catgirl”. It’s gonna move to webtoons official. It’s not the author shilling it, though they use co and sometimes post in threads. They also have some kinda parody of eltingvile with women instead. I have no idea about the original, so idk how that works.
>>151646795This creator actually has a previous comic called "Angel's Advocate" that they stopped working on, I liked it even if it's unfinished.https://www.webtoons.com/en/canvas/angels-advocate/list?title_no=388885https://angelsadvoc8.tumblr.com/
>>151646910Unfortunately it feels like webcomics with bad writing seem to have the best inertia, partially uplifted I suspect by the fact they're bad and people will engage with it at a higher frequency compared to other webcomics. Things that annoy or offend with some small promise of being better than it is, or worse, it actually WAS better once upon a time and degraded into its modern disappointing/infuriating iteration.
Is anyone actually checking out all these comics? I probably will.
>>151646952This is from the creator of HFHH.
>>151646965I'm curious about E-GOR even if it's on hiatus and SAiNT looks interesting to me too, I just need to sit down and read it.
>>151641350>binge webcomic>the most recent 16 chapters is exclusive to patreon, and even that hasnt updated since julyI am sick and tired of things being paywalled for shit like this
>>151647278I hope you liked it at least. I kinda get that feeling though. It’s kinda a downer for me when I find a comic I like and I realize it’s been on hiatus (or it’s dead). I mentioned it was on hiatus but I probably should have checked the exact amount of time. I think they made an announcement about it.Sadly a bunch of comics I like are on hiatus or update at a snails pace. I’ve seen personal emergencies, author has too much work, author is broke, author has to go to college, author is injured, etc.A different comic I read (golden boar) is on hiatus because of the author getting pregnant (and this is the second time it went on hiatus for that reason).
Does anyone remember pic rel? It got cut short and the website went down but there's still archives of itUnfortunately I couldn't find any of the paid stories which are now also unavailable

Bumping one of the more interesting threads we have right now
Parallel DementiaOld and obscure now that the site has 404'd. The artist made a spiritual successor called The Sword Interval, that's more recent but has become just as obscure since it ended.RIP Derelict too, the artist's other comic which used to be popular on here but is now forgotten.
There's a superhero webcomic I heard about once. It's a deconstruction that shows how many flaws such a world would have. I can't think of the name because that is the most generic premise ever. Apparently some people still aren't sick of that kind of thing
>>151647416Did it finish? or go on (permanent) hiatus?

>>151647968>The Sword Interval>>151647982Also on ComicFury up to page 439: https://swordinterval.thecomicseries.com/comics/1/I liked Derelict up to the end of volume 1, but lost interestduring volume 2 as it no longer focused on scavenging a sparsely populated and dangerous world. Sword Interval I followd for maybe 20 pages but the setting didn't appeal.
One webcomic I've been adoring for a long time is Etherwood. A beautifully trad drawn, watercolored comic about a young girl living in a rural town where she helps and protects nature spirits. She encounters, saves and befriends a fox spirit who drags her through more trouble. A genuine recommendation of a webcomic to read.https://tapas.io/series/Etherwood
Pink among Blood Red Roseshttps://globalcomix.com/read/9093c55e-0b8a-4a97-8e32-47c060e3fdd4/1Story about a woman trying to survive in a town where a bunch of fucked up shit happens, some of it caused by supernatural forces, other stuff caused by people being cruel to each other. Has some Jojo inspired action sequences. Very emotional rollercoaster with storylines that have satisfying payoffs. Lots of cute girls too. Incredible art.
>>151649261Sounds like a real bizarre adventure, I might need to check this one out

Ive got a comic you all can sink your teeth into. Wish Fulfillment has been running for a year now, and I’m almost done wrapping up the second chapter. It’s about a Genie that does the whole genie-schtick as a job. Highly impromptu, the series will probably touch every genre before I throw in the towel.I’ve got shorter more content dense episodes planned for next year, so be sure to join my cult while it’s still underground, and outside the public conciousness.https://www.webtoons.com/en/canvas/wish-fulfillment/list?title_no=992494

>>151651699Lets be real anon, some of the replies you see here are possibly from the creators themselves without saying it. For many niche webcomics you can't fully rely on a reader coming to say something, you do need to push the needle a bit yourself. We all know creators been doing that for a long damn time on co.
>>151652008I mean, of course, but don't be so blatant about it. At least have some respect lmao.

>>151651699>>151652008Just be smarter and don't be so obvious. People lie on the internet all the time, you can put your identity out there in your comment section for your comic or if someone does respond to the post you make about it in response to bringing it up. I don't care that the authors are hanging around here hoping someone gets interested and has something to say about their comic but announcing you're the author while simultaneously holding it up is a little too pushy for my taste. >>151651438That said I am a little interested in this by merit of the page posted, the guy seems funny. >>151646865Comic looks pretty cute. Although the rougher art at the start of the comic is quite a contrast to the page you posted. But looks interesting, I'd say.
>>151652202>Also some of the rec’s have been kinda sadNot only do you blatantly self-promote like the desperate shill you are, but you're also a condescending elitist fag as well.If you just wanted to recommend your pals' comics, sure. But don't drag other people's comics down while doing so. Very backhanded, bad show of character.
>>151652202>>151652911Are you saying they're badly written or just saying the story is dark and depressing?
Tom N Artie is a decent read if you're looking for an action/comedy like Sam and Max or SCUD. It's about a military unicorn and his cartoon friend working as mercs trying to make a buck in a multi-dimensional setting.https://tom-n-artie.thecomicseries.com/I sometimes feel bad for the creator cause it looks like all his other comics (Abnormal Shift and Kaiju Dayz) seem to be picking up while this one seems to have a hard time pulling people despite him constantly trying to push it.
>>151653166Man, Tom N Artie deserves much more love than it gets. It's such a good comic with nice art and action.Talking about a comic with nice art and action, go check out Awesoman! Real nice cape comic with some stellar art and action.https://globalcomix.com/c/awesoman
>>151653038some of the recs have been depressing and dark. I wanted to post something more cheery. And some like Angel’s Advocate haven’t been updated in a while. I really liked that one. Thats why I said some were a little bit sad. I should have clarified that.
Examples?
>>151653401I feel Tom N Artie doesn't get that much love cause the creator is kind of shit at advertising it. There's also the fact it's slow to update (though with art like that I can get why) and he doesn't post alot of shorts for the comic anymore. He used to be on point with constant shorts in the early days but I think diminished cause he began tackling more projects. I'm a bit surprised he never tried to open a patreon or anything.

Fair warning, it's only got about 20 episodes out and has been on hiatus since early 2024. But apparently the reason for the hiatus was the author was talking with Webtoons about moving to the Webtoons Originals section:https://www.webtoons.com/en/canvas/cat-girl/genetically-engineered-super-companions/viewer?title_no=666229&episode_no=1Tagline:>An epidemic of loneliness, shut-ins and social isolation has swept the entire world but affecting primarily young men ages 18-30. The genetically engineered super companions. It follows Peter and the Catgirl (Andi) he lives with. Like many people here, Peter is a loser who has no friends and who uses discord & 4chan. He gets prescribed a catgirl by his therapist because he is an autist. The catgirl likes eating mac & cheese. Andi is probably autistic as well and seems like a terrible judge of character. It's definitely not wish fulfillment, but you do feel bad for peter.

There's a bunch of webtoons I (used to) read that are completed, but I never got around to catching up with. You see I had a tendency where I would catch up on all the episodes of a comic, then forget to pick it up when more episodes came out. Or they would go on break for a while and I would forget to pick it back up when breaks between seasons ended.I remember them being good, but an important caveat is that I haven't read them in a while and I don't know how they ended.
Had to put list in separate post due to length:This one is "Four Leaf". (No relation to 4chan).>Pulled into a magical world by her enigmatic best friend, Lupe finds herself in the middle of an ongoing battle between witches who seek the remains of the Wolf, and hunters who are after the witches. There's not much Lupe can do to escape her fate; only the Lady of Wishes can send her home... if the legend is true.https://www.webtoons.com/en/fantasy/four-leaf/episode-1-the-least-magical-person/viewer?title_no=1454&episode_no=1These 2 do that annoying thing where they force you to pay for more episodes or limit you to reading 1 per day on the official app:>Born without magic in a world full of witches, Lone is determined to claw her way to the top of wizarding school if it kills her -- and it just well might! After a deal with the devil improves her magical aptitude and leaves her with a parasitic demon lord stuck to her forehead, Lone's dream is finally within reach. Now she just has to survive long enough to graduate high school...and help Lord Beelxaroth retake his rightful throne as King of Hell so that he'll finally get out of her hair.https://www.webtoons.com/en/fantasy/lone/list?title_no=1929"Never ending darling". This one is translate from Korean, unlike the others.>Ha-im Yun lives in a world where people register their DNA into cloning databases, a world where human suffering has basically been eradicated. The brilliant mind behind this cloning technology is none other than Ha-im’s boyfriend of five years, Geunhu Ji. Their relationship isn’t perfect, but they make it work -- or so Ha-im thinks, until she finds a dead body at her boyfriend’s house… and the dead body is hers. The next day, she wakes up with no recollection of the previous day until she finds a note from herself in her room… “Ha-im, if you’re reading this, you’re a clone.”https://www.webtoons.com/en/thriller/never-ending-darling/list?title_no=4212
Since it's been a while since I read them I can't really tell you more about the plots and themes off the top of my head. But I think the blurbs give you a good idea of what you get.
>>151656578>You see I had a tendency where I would catch up on all the episodes of a comic, then forget to pick it up when more episodes came out. Or they would go on break for a while and I would forget to pick it back up when breaks between seasons ended.Another finished comic that was interesting but I never got around to finishing. This one's from the creators of room of swords.>A lonely necromancer named Victor is hired to resurrect a wealthy man’s bride. Victor accepts, hoping to get the job done quickly, only to find himself magically entangled with the bride and groom and caught in the middle of more romance than he knows what to do with. Also contains BL because its a throuple involving the groom as well. (not really a big spoiler). That might not be your thing, but If you're fine with girl genius, you may be fine with this.https://www.webtoons.com/en/fantasy/love-me-to-death/episode-1/viewer?title_no=3203&episode_no=1This is obviously a romance comic. I don't know why its only tagged as fantasy.
What about comic not hosted on any platforms what so ever?
>>151656955>What about comic not hosted on any platforms what so ever? Are you talking about webcomics with their own site? or physical comics? You're probably better off making a separate thread for the latter.
Anyways, speaking of Room of Swords, that's one one finished webtoon that I liked (and actually got around to finishing). It was a webtoons original. Apparently later parts of it suffered because of webtoon's editorial meddling. The number of seasons was cut down, art quality went down, and the ending was confusing and rushed. However I guess their contract with webtoons expired. So they decided to take down the original comic, and they're now doing a remastered version of it:https://www.webtoons.com/en/canvas/room-of-swords/list?title_no=1098460It's also available on their website:https://www.toonimated.com/roomofswordsThe early art had amazing messy water color feel that got lost later on, so maybe the art will be better in the remastered version.
I forgot to mention what Room of Swords was about. This is another comic that's hard to explain the plot of without spoilers. However, EVEN with spoilers it's kinda complex.I guess the way I'd describe it loosely is that Gyrus who is an astronaut from the future, and a bunch of other characters (from across various periods in history) wake up trapped in the "room of swords" which they have to defeat various monsters to break free of.This is the blurb on webtoons, which does a decent job of giving you an idea of whats going on:>When Gyrus wakes in a prison of deadly trials alongside warriors from across time, and a man who insists they’ve met before, he must uncover a past he doesn’t remember, the love he lost, and the secrets that doomed him... before the cycle repeats again.
>>151653455Since someone asked for lighthearted stuff, I'll mention the swords comic. (No relation to the room of swords comic I just posted). It's mostly lighthearted stuff. It centers around a gimmick where their world has an preoccupation with swords (magic or otherwise).I'll note that for some reason the author also decided to make bunch of the comics out of order chronologically. I don't know if this was intended as memento style thing. Or if they just realized they wanted to add plots to the story and started connecting previously unrelated gags.https://swordscomic.com/comic/cover/>Welcome to the world of Swords!>At the Dawn of Time, the God of Darkness, Kargob, took hold of a Sword of Light and used it to cut open the void... creating a Universe filled with Swords!Apparently he gets advertisement revenue on webtoons, but the standalone website has alt text and character tags on each pagehttps://www.webtoons.com/en/canvas/swords-the-webcomic/swords-i/viewer?title_no=198852&episode_no=1>In a world where everything is a sword, only the sharpest heroes survive! These are the tales of many different adventurers, living their lives in a realm corrupted by Seven Demon Swords.
>>151657282>Lesser known comics>Posts Swords Okay you have to be stupid to think SWORDS, the same comic that's been covered by BBC, had multiple successful campaigns and still gets high numbers on reddit is somehow lesser known.
>>151657432I wasn't aware of all of that, but you are correct that it's not lesser known. Whoops.

Recommending Roars and Whispers. An action-adventure webcomic taking place in Ancient Japan starring a catgirl and a wolf beastman. Some nice watercolor-styled art reminiscing me a bit of Japanese sumi-e stylehttps://tapas.io/series/RoarsAndWhispers/info
>>151640945>comics that are ether finished or have updated this yearHere's a finished one. It's not that long, only about a 2 hours read.https://www.snarlbear.com/comic/chapter-one-coverFrom the about page:>SNARLBEAR is a comic about a girl's journey through the dangerous and colorful Rainbow Dimension. On the way she learns about the power of friendship and monster punching. It's basically an Isekai of sorts. Daisy wanders into a portal, kills the snarlbear and takes it's name and pelt as a trophy. She's joined by a shady elf, and eventually goes on a quest to restore a deposed unicorn monarch to the throne.

>>151646767>>151646841I liked Ten Earth Shattering Blows. It's kinda a pulp desert adventure. Maybe Sword & Sorcery. It's the same as a few other comics I've mentioned in that there's early spoilers in the story.Maybe I'll type out an slightly spoilery explanation for these comics later.

Saturno the Demon Eater, it has neat storytelling and a cool setting- it's still going too and is nearing its end. https://demoneater.thecomicseries.com/A anon recommended this webcomic a few years ago on /co/ and I've been a fan of it since. I'd post a image but some asshole abused my IP range

https://feastforaking.com/comic/chapter-one/FFAK has over 8000 pages. The earlier pages are kind sketchy/messy art wise, but it gets better as it goes on.This is another comic that's kinda hard for me to think of a good way to describe the plot. In this case mostly due to complexity of the story. There's a lot of plot threads. It's got so many flashbacks and out of order sequences, that it's hard to give a good summary of what's going on.It's got body horror and sci-fi stuff. A race of worms that shapechanges based on what they eat. You have a species that's living bombs.I'd say check out the about page:https://feastforaking.com/about/

saw this idea in another thread>reverse-isekai i guess, where weird toon/blue-blooded/elf immortal beings that are basically toons brought to physical plane, suddenly appear without explanation, they defy the flow of time and backspawn, and they have blue blood and feathers instead of hair, and spectral rainbow colors. and are completely immortal and very difficult to even injure. if they're "killed" they just come back.>the immediately get right to work on trying to dominate, exploit, restrict the humans. the "elves" (though they could look like anything, if toony) immediately view the human mortals as dirty wild animals that don't deserve rights.and at some point there's gonna be some weird part about a human male that somehow managed to tf into a toon furry wolf lady, but nobody can verify that happened, and there's weird shit going on between the humans & elves trying to figure each other out.
>>151660592are you looking for a comic or talking about an idea for a comic?
>>151659662>crazy how this has been going on since '07 and is hardly talked about there on /co/There's a lot of webcomics that have been going on for a long time (or are finished) and hardly get discussion on /co/. I think this board mostly focuses on cartoons and comics from the big 2.anyways posting the tagline for you:https://deadwinter.cc/page/1>Dead Winter is an action-filled modern fantasy/sci-fi horror story about a post-apocalypse living-dead zombie infested present-day world. It isn't really about zombies, though. It's about people. It follows the lives of a rag-tag group of survivors who struggle to further their agendas and live through a lawless, disease-torn reality where everyday job skills take on new uses and nothing ever really goes according to plan.
>>151660616some anon was sharing ideas for one
>>151660784>Webcomics that never get mentioned on /co/You could fill the catalogue with both web and indie comics from random creators. As much as people here wanna complain about how 'so many' creators wanna put in gay/LGBTQ/politics in their stuff there's like 200 others where all they do is post their book and never say anything else online. I've bought several books off Kickstarter campaigns where the creators were just straight to business and posted their comic/art without much fuss. It's the exact thing anons here say they want right? Except alot of them aren't popular so they won't be spoonfed to them on social media. They will sparingly post so they're 'boring' and other BS. /co/ keeps itself in this problem when there's a clear solution. It's just that solution requires actual effort.

I think I posted this in the last webcomic thread but I quite enjoy Wimp Witch. It's a cartoony and on occasion sexy comic about a Witch on an alien planet that is trying to figure out what kind of magic she's good at. And in the process, finds an evil guy (that's she's supposed to get rid of) to get frisky with. The author is also working on animating it herself on Youtube. (uncensored version is on Newgrounds)
