Charizard using Protect to block an attack. Charizard just generally flying around makes it easier to attack and dodge, especially if Wargreymon is stuck from Fire Spin and and missing attacks. Much of this would have applied when Wargreymon was Greymon, seeing Agumon transform to Greymon already would have been reason enough for Red to start with that stuff. It would be funny, yet accurate. It's quite a factor that Wargreymon starts and Agumon and can be made to De-Digivolve back. Once Wargreymon De-Digivolves, just go for the kill on the weaker form.In Pokémon, the majority of what can cause a win for one side doesn't just come from raw Stats, but versatility and hax. Pokémon can overcome more powerful opponents with stuff like Status Effects, Status Moves, strategy and Items.
