I think it's cool that the setting's legendary barbarian hero fell in love with some kind of mysterious carnivorous plant woman sorceress who basically became a plant goddess to save him. Feels very mythical, even if it mostly takes place in the context of planning a bake sale.

Wow, binge watching AT makes the later season’s flaws seem all the more obvious. I’m towards the end of season 5 and all of a sudden Finn has started losing every fight he gets into, gotten outshined by everything and everyone up to and including Cinnamon Bun, will gain development and powerups only to lose them literally the next episode (look at his grass sword being incredibly powerful on introduction only to become useless over the next few episodes as an example), the fight scenes are fewer and further between and their animation and choreography objectively worse, slower, less impressive than in earlier seasons (1-3 especially), and he and Jake are starting to take up screentime less and less and have decreasing relevance to plot in their own show. And I haven’t even started getting into the real haven’t even touched season 6 yet.

I have a theory that i've been thinking about all day, and I think this might be how Season 3 plays out, at least partially:Now, we all are aware that Huntress has essentially become the new Heart of the Forest and may have accidentally merged several separate dimensions/worlds with each other when she gathering energy to heal Finn.So, what if this somehow opens "rips" that allows entities to travel inbetween these worlds? One of the reasons why I think this may be the case, is Vamp World- all of humanity is gone- completely wiped out by vampires preying on them without any regards to conservation. They completely ran through their only food source. Now where would they get access to more human blood....? This is where the dimensional merge comes in- Vampire King or maybe Marceline (if she survived her fight with PB) will invade Ooo and start hunting the humans that have decided to recolonize the continent. However, the Ooo humans aren't as helpless as their vamp counterparts.Fionna and Cake will accompany Marceline and PB to separate these worlds once again to return everything back to normal I think, and their may be a plot with Hunson where he is taking advantage of this entire thing to find a new Marceline to take his place as ruler of the Nightosphere.
