This episode he begins to remember himself, and how to use the weapon that defined so much of his life. The entire time hes searching for Fang even if he doesnt even understand who she is or why. Its a safe bet that as he keeps going he will continue to recover mentally and his goal will become more concrete leading to the tragic reunion of our protagonists. After that who knows, hopefully Spear gets properly resurrected by gaining the favor of one of the powerful beings he'll meet on this journey.
