He's also kind of a playboy and likes getting along with all kinds of other trolls. Maybe if I wanted to ship them together in the context of the Homestuck story I would have gave them scenes where they are physically together and Dave can appreciate John's presence. Then again one of the problems I have with Homestuck is that the kids getting to meet for real isn't made out to be as big of a deal as it is/should be. So I want to give all yhe kids scenes where they are alone with one another so they can talk and like, meet up formally.
