Be honest. Who here though that Nermal the cat was a girl? Just from reading the Garfield comics, you would think that Nermal is a girl from the way Garfield and John treat him. He's depicted as too cute for his own good. He's kind of like the Tails of Garfield, and it would make more sense just to make him a girl.
