Whats crazy to me about Kratos vs Superman is that DB proved beyond any possible doubt that Kratos doesn't just win, he completely god-stomps and simply cannot be defeated by Superman.He's equal in strength, if not superior, than Superman, and so durable that the Man of Steel literally CANNOT hurt him even without his weapons.He also has access to every single weapon he's ever collected across his history and has an infinite number of them thanks to Spartan Rage, so he can literally just spam the Blade of Olympus forever and has literally infinite relics and weapons.He resists all of Superman's metafictionalhax, He can't be hurt by any of Clark's attacks, he hard counters everything Clark can do, the only area where he wasn't completely dominant was in onscreen feats, and even then Kratos was shown to have equal enough dev statements and lore that he can just dodge/block/counter everything Clark can do and was guaranteed to smash and kill him with ease, even pointing out that Base Superman gets utterly obliterated by Kratos.All of this, btw, without once bringing in scaling from Composite Kratos or his high end stuff like the Power of Hope, the Valkyrie armors, or even forms like Giant Kratos or "Turns people into red orbs" Kratos or even Morpheus Kratos, all of which would have made it more of a stomp.Yet even with ALL OF THAT, they ended up downplaying Kratos to a completely ridiculous and disrespectful degree, turning what should have been his ultimate, defining, final victory over an opponent who was never his equal to begin with and proving that the Man of "Steel" is a fraud as far as being Kratos' rival goes into one of the most hated DBs, to the point where he deserves a sequel to his Gunn cinematic universe flop just to get the taste of that awful deathbattle out of fans mouths and put some proper respect on his name.

Yasha from what I can tell is the generally more skilled/experienced fighter with greater acrobatics and agility. The themes and connections are good with both of them though.

I think the personal stuff is also there with Jack. And that really, really strong ghost in the machine plotline. But what you want is what you want, I suppose. Stain doesn't have survivor's guilt as drive to do what he does - Silverhand does. There's nothing you can do with Butcher's slow corruption, loss of identity, throwing away the person he grew to cherish with Stain. There's also the big problem that Stain is just outright insane, MHA heroes aren't largely corrupt and the heroes he was targeting weren't part of the problem that does exist, and the problems that face it aren't really anywhere near similar to the Boys'. Meanwhile, Johnny versus the Cyberpunk corpos is much more similar to Butcher opposing Vought given they basically seem to rule the country as a corpotocracy.You can also do "similar to a point of contrast at the end" with Butcher vs Silverhand too - Butcher eventually succumbs to his baser instincts and goes back to mistrusting everyone and ultimately dies to Hughie, becoming his own downfall, while Silverhand does (potentially) take over V's body out of the bond that grew between the two. I'd wager the show ending will also make this stronger (especially as Butcher literally is being taken over by a foreign entity that's trying to corrupt him that only he can see) so you can have a contrast with another Cyberpunk ending.We may just have to agree to disagree on this, though.
