I think his effort on his current projects works better.

It looks too clean for the sense of humor it manages, it requires to be more rough. A few adjustments to the line art, avoiding perfect circles and perhaps re-design the girl might do the trick. Knowing that Peter Browngardt is executive producer, it managed to scratch some of my cravings for an uncle grandpa-esque show I had, but I want it to be more than just Ule Gapa with less interesting visually.With just minor adjustments to the aesthetic, I might have another animated series for television to watch besides The Patrick Star Show.
