Predict the next adaptation slop that overtakes /co/ when the actual comic discussion for it barely happened.
Assuming they actually come out and deliver, Something is Killing the Children and Monstress' animated adaptations
Search your heart, you know it to be true
>>153425419>barely happenedMate it had MULTIPLE active storytime threads and still has threads to this day
Kingdom Come would probably get called an injustice clone today
>>153425324Hitman always seemed like the perfect adaptation bait but it was never done why?
>>153425783Ennis was given the extremely rare full total control of the character randomly so what he says goes He’d rather make a crossed adaptation than this btw
>>153425324>Kingdom Come>The Dark Knight Returns sequels no one wants to mention >Uber (this one is stretching it as uber was popular here when it was still made but lost relevance) >’68>Anything regarding Spawn after the 90s>Saga? >2000AD that’s not judge Dredd Am I missing anything
>>153425897Saga is stretching it too since I think most people probably utterly despise it now here but don’t bother mentioning it anymore
Resurrection Man (original run) felt like a 90s era syndicated action show similar to Xena, Renegade , Highlander etc.Could easily turn it into an hour long action series.Hire two hot babes to play Body Doubles and you got a hit show
>>153425324>>153426048>>153426048You guys are fucking terrible at thisNobody gives a fuck about animated Marvel and DC adaptations anymore aside from people who were already fans or were remotely interested in those IPs
>>153425324Peter Bagge's Hate is now old enough to be nostalgic it will be the modern "70s show"
>>153425897>Anything regarding Spawn after the 90sTruly what actually happens in spawn like I never seen a character carried on by purely vibes as much as spawn
>>153426071Dc should have fast tracked a absolute Batman cartoon desu to capitalize on it
>>153426071Yeah movies/tv shows based on superhero comics have never been popular. good point
>>153426237>Yeah movies/tv shows based on superhero comics have never been popular. good pointThat's not the point Adaptations based on already popular IP don't see a boost in popularity akin to obscure, nicher IP getting an adaptation because the ceiling has already been reached
>>153425324Newfag detected, The Boys and Invincible were extensively discussed on this board in their heyday.
>>153425419Furshit should stay on >>>/trash/ where it belongs.
>>153425324Hopefully something I don't like.
>>153425324 Hopefully something I do like!
>>153425419How would you go about animating it?
>>153425397>Monstress animated adaptation kek, in ur dreams
>>153425799Crossed would unironicall be easier to adapt imo. Hitman would most likely get reworked so hard that that it would barely even resemble the original.>>153426079the pilot is alright, but I think Hate was too ahead of its time to be efficiently adapted for tv at the time. it would definitely work better on the market on some streaming platform, and I agree that it's old enough to hit the right nostalgic vibe>>153426199McFarlane 100% lucked out by getting his design right, had spawn been less visually appealing there's no fucking way it would still be going. I read the first like 100 issues many years ago and that series has no head nor tail.
>>153425799Crossed appeals to YouTube short fans so much it’ll do amazing
>>153425324Luther Strode.
