Last time, Laura and Gabby met the X-numbers, who were excited to meet the “legendary” X-23. The “Generated” as they also call themselves were a bunch of chimeras who had managed to hijack the Facility following an accident that killed all of the scientists, and have been living there in secrecy while tricking the other Facilities that they’re operating as if nothing had happened. This allows them to get food, but also treatment for the condition that they’re dealing with: their highly unstable powers that will potentially kill them. Despite Laura’s attempts to try to help them with their condition by potentially reaching out to someone, the Generated refuse her help and claim that they can hold down the fort. But things quickly take a turn for the worse when during a training session, X-73 suddenly dies after using his unstable powers and heavily harms Laura in the process, and X-Infinite demands her to answer for X-73’s death…

Previously in our journey towards Armageddon, Logan fought and questioned Colton over where he had released Tyler Torrens, before Teri O’Barnes told them that PrimeWarrior’s tracking protection was seemingly gone and she was now able to track Tyler. But before they could get out of Colton’s cabin, Nuke (who had been sent by PrimeWarrior) began shooting at it and demanded Logan to face him. After leaving the cabin from behind with Colton, Logan planned to simply sneak around Nuke to swiftly end him, but that plan went up in flames when Nuke pulled up an RPG and blew up the cabin - with Teri inside it!
