Making Geralt skankhunt and not properly resolving the Butters storyline were the biggest issues with the season. These two act like complete pieces of shit for the whole season and nothing really happens to them. Geralt in particular was bullying 4th graders and faces no repercussions whatsoever. Skankhunt should have been one of the 4th graders and then we could have had a low stakes self contained plot about the election entirely within the school. Imo the season would have been much better if the election commentary occurred within a school election of some kind that allowed the writers to have much more control over the narrative. Imo the biggest reason why recent seasons of South Park are stale is because the political commentary is almost 1 to 1 with what is actually happening in the world rather than happening through a satire created by the show. One of the students should have been a Trump analogue.
