Maybe they could make it different from other phoenix stories that end in her death. Like she does try to perform one last sacrifice per usual. However, she realizes she really wants to stay with Peter and her new friends. This time, she gives up all her strength and is free from the phoenix. She wakes up in Peter's arms, who he himself was worried he had lost someone again. She cheers him up with a deep kiss and looks around. Everyone else was also crying tears of joy when they saw she's still alive. Post credits show her still having some powers, but much weaker like in BND, or maybe she didn't really lose the phoenix connection after all.

I keep seeing people bring up the kino of SymbiotePhoenix but I can't get this idea out of my head of them introducing Carnage in the MCU instead of doing Venom. A Spider-Man movie that could be considered a horror film, with Spider-Carnage occurring at one point and Peter having to resist so Carnage doesn't use his body to kill people. It loses out on the subtle influence of the symbiote on his mind in favor of controlling his body but I can taste it.
