>>155648250I like comic Shockwave better because it creates a contrast between him and Megatron/Starscream, where instead of wanting power for its own sake he genuinely believes he'd make a better leader, and just wants the Decepticons to succeed regardless of who's in charge. If anyone's going to be personally loyal to Megatron even when he's out of power it should be Soundwave.

I read this comic before I ever watched the show. I read Shockwave's voice in DCAU Brainiac's, only to find out later they shared the same voice actor.
