All this reminds me of that one, I believe it was collider, article where they said that she is trying to... On a journey of redemption for Adam. Given that it looks like he didn't know, it kind of seems to me that she made a deal with Heaven or Sera, regarding the exterminations. We're told that it was his idea, but a lot of the imagery is attributed to her specifically. It almost seems like she was the one that proposed the exterminations, and therefore purging sinners was her way of atoning for both of them.

Except it was never enough. Meanwhile, Lilith, Little Miss Independent, doesn't need to do any of that, and Heaven still makes deals with her, and lets her stay. She doesn't need to change her identity or anything about herself. Meanwhile Eve did.

They're not going to hook up (at least not yet, who knows with Viv) but Alastor will probably use Lucifer's loneliness and attention starvation against him to start getting close to him as a manipulation. Whatever he wants from Lucifer, power no doubt, he will likely succeed in getting from Lucifer if not by the end of 3 then in season 4. Which will fuel his villain arc but some lines will get blurred between them along the way that play out later.

So they’re kind of dealing with a double whammy. If Looty behaved like some of the Alastor or radioapple schizos who make increasingly wild claims with very little basis and then go bother everybody about them, people could easily dismiss Lute/Eve by pointing at the fandom surrounding it. But they don’t really have that either. The theory has substantial evidence behind it, and the people pushing it most visibly are, for the most part, minding their own fucking business.

You’ve got a theory that, at this point, has a very real chance of becoming canon without an obnoxious fanbase conveniently handing people a reason to discredit it. And on top of that, Looty occasionally has legitimate insider information that later checks out. I think that combination is part of why some people get so disproportionately irritated by her specifically. It’s harder to write someone off as some random fandom schizo when they’re actually showing their work.

Knowing the Vees are probably getting a spinoff makes focusing so much on them in the main show even more ridiculous to me. They really do care more about Vox than the supposed main characters.

I feel like I'm missing something here because I cannot give a fuck about them at all. I can't even say the Alastor and Vox thing is compelling. It feels forced as anything else. Valentino's tie with Angel is the only element about the Vees that feels like organic focus and not the writers falling in love with Christian Borle or some ship.

I don't have a dog in this particular race and don't think it's a big deal, but is Viv so caught up in being butthurt about people taking Charlie moments the "wrong" way and pushing back at fandom that she forgets the context of her own scenes? As far as Charlie knows, Alastor has been Vox's prisoner for a while and just broke free. She has no way of knowing how that began either. Vox also happened to be the same guy pointing a death beam at Heaven about to start a war when Alastor jumped to fight him.

This being the same Charlie who was happy to have Alastor and her friends actively fight off the previous threat to everyone's lives last season. It makes no sense for her to think in that kind of finger wagging way about Alastor in that moment. Can Viv just say they didn't think that much about it or didn't have time and move it along already instead of snipping at the fandom with retroactive justifications that make no sense?

I really can't wrap my head around the Vees worship. I fell like people fell for all the empty vox showmanship in season 2 but that just makes 1 out of 3 characters interesting. It's gotten to a point where I'm convinced huge chunks of what's left of the show were changed last minute to give them so much screen time. I don't remember the pilot era episode pitches having this much vees content and I fucking hate that Skye dug her fingers into Viv's brain and likely torched the story for one of the shittier yaoi pairings in this franchise.
