Only thing I've thought of that's close to tentacles is hyper-sperm.

Zero, where you can either have a few strong monsters or a lot of weak ones. Characters move on a grid map, and each technique has a specific range, so positioning is important (think Live A Live's battle system).
Most importantly, the objective is NOT to defeat the enemy team, but to defeat the enemy Caretaker specifically; when that happens, monsters of both sides will be free to fuck the fallen Caretaker. Of course, some Caretakers take steps to prevent this - for example by being vored by bigger monsters and commanding them from the inside, or by wearing tentacle suits like equippable items.

Physical mutations are obviously stronger, but can also carry drawbacks - like, in this case, becoming more heavy and sluggish and dumb. Other mutations, like gaining the "acid mist" spell, do not carry the risk of negative traits, but using them is mentally exhausting, and overusing your magic can lead to your body devouring itself, your figure becoming scrawnier and emanciated or even melting into a slurry. And of course, the sacrificial mutations obviously require you to get eaten.

In the context of a world sim, it would just be a reason not to include them. You'd only include things big enough to mate with women (so giant bugs for those who like that sort of thing). To balance this sort if thing, it'd have to be that the woman usually survives but may be changed in some way like unable to birth anything other than this monster in the future.

I like the idea of women being a kind of resource (in this context) like that of houses in an RTS game. That is, the population cap is governed by the amount of women you have and their capacity to keep birthing offspring. I think in an RTS type game, it makes sense that the women change depending on their faction (i.e. transform based on who impregnates them), but in the world sim type game it'd be more interesting if it was just the offspring that were mixed since it would result in crossbreed races evolving.

Note I'm not saying that I'm actually sure whether this is the correct course in light of the ideas's other concepts.

The closer a pregnancy gets to fruition, the more powerful she becomes. Though it isn't too substantial a difference.

There are also fantasy beasts in this world, but none particularly powerful. No dragons beyond maybe dog sized lizards that are mildly magical if at all. Tentacles are also small fry that need other species' wombs to procreate, but hardly ever prey on humans beyond children occasionally and adults rarely. The handful of times a human is impregnated, they just gain magic powers and kill the tentacles. The tentacles are too dumb to learn from this.
One calamitous day a crack in space happens which causes an invasion of eldritch horrors from a demon realm. They are beings of pure malice that love bad emotions and suffering. Conversely they are harmed by pleasure, good emotions, and most of all: the indomitable human spirit. These beings spread corruption and mutating effects wherever they go. They turn the animals of the land and the corpses of humans into vicious beasts that attack humanity with them. Note however than none of these beings or animals rape humans. They just slaughter them.

She raises it and some time later with it (henceforth "Tentacle Prime") forms an Anti-Demon Sentai Organization. It works like Symphogear except instead of music it's the power of motherhood.
They discover the nature of his birth and research his abilities. Pregnancies with him are much more powerful and the nature of the magic is far more versatile. Even more powerful however are "Self Genesis" pregnancies, the type of pregnancy on which the Tentacle Maiden Corps is based.

I think the broad scope and being able to change the world conditions (i.e. what fetishes/behaviours are possible and prevalent) is the only way I'd remain interested as well.
The world sim aspect would be more engaging if you could tweak the settings enough to make completely different outcomes, or add things part way through to see how the people adapt or what gains dominance.

I used to spend a lot of time writing world building and short stories on these sorts of things. The way imagine it is that characters are effectively a bag of organs. The brain being an organ that interprets and filters the information from all the other organs (hot right?). So in the brain the character would have their personality, and upon seeing things that arouse them it would trigger sexual organs.
So in this system all there need be is a penis on a masculine human, but I like the idea of being able to creating modifiers. Things like "arousal grows women's bodies", or in a woman only settings "climax has X chance for spontaneous pregnancy cloning self", or the aforementioned "impregnation triggers body transformation"

If the system works as intended you could modify the humans to be all women then add whatever system of reproduction you want to sustain them - tentacle monsters that will turn women into birthing factories. Simulate a thousand years and maybe women maybe women evolved to be slow hyper fertile which makes them easy prey once entering the tentacles range, or maybe the tentacles and women evolved to be symbiotic and the tentacles only becoming active when enough food is available.
The rate and capacity for evolution would be something modifiable, limiting it if one just wants to observe social evolution. Like women potentially coming to accept the tentacles, or the tentacles being hidden away by cabals that will find good quality women to be abducted and sacrificed for the sake of perpetuating womankind

The greatest issue with this would be how to make 3D models able to easily shift between shapes. It would need some non-standard rendering system, using Ray-casting or ray-marching could have models that blend together.
