When I stopped yesterday I also wanted to try cyborgs that had like normal bodies going on but the belly was translucent so you can see the innards, be it integrated sextoys/mechanical/guts. NAI seems to do transparent skin really well but likes missplacing organs haha.

Today all I got was failgens, though I guess they are more /d/ than what I wanted to do: elbow deep fisting. I think the problem here is the shittyness of the dataset. In e621 "fisting" also counts as "sex" and "penetration", and clearly the common intercourse is a lot more represented, so no matter what I neg, if I use the e621 tags for fisting I always get some crotch rubbing against crotch. I would need another Lora. The ones on civitai are not good enough.

I'm running noobaiXLNAIXL_epsilonPred11Version with most of the settings and quality prompts reccomended on its Civitai page - except I've turned the CFG down to 5.8 to get more interesting results.
Other than that, I'm just putting artist names into the prompt (formatted like they are on danbooru, with escaped parentheses). If there's a secret, I don't know it.

I don't think Pony loras will work very well - the model's based on Illustrious, I think.

Yeah, I've been playing around with different values too...I always feel like something is missing or not right. BUT maybe we're expecting too much? It's easy to catch myself doing completely unnecesary pixel peeping with comfy just by zooming in. When I rather should compare the differences between gens at the same magnification. Cause when you do that, it indeed does look a little better and more refined. I also think that artist style play a big role in that too. Sometimes it looks I get literal filmgrain like artifacting like in picrel. Idk if I like that though or why that happens, since doesn't feel like the gens is actually 'fried' in a general sense. I just tried amputee, but the trait was bleeding. The other character's elbows became weird.

Been tinkering a little more and I changed my approach and ignored long genning times for a bit by upscaling the deep shrink base gen with a 2x anime model. Also used 0.5 for strength and end percent on the tile controlnet. And idk if it's worth it but the end result is incredibly sharp imo. But I really feel that should also be possible faster and at lower res. I really don't want to keep running 246.52 second workflows. V-pred is very good at strong colors and contrast and also a little more consistent with anatomy, that's why I like to use it but yeah. It's not for everyone. As for the 'creativity' of the model: It can help to go super low with the cfg with the cfg++ samplers if your UI has them. But I agree I feel like v-pred takes things pretty literal, depending on what you want it can be a pro or a con. But your picrel is pretty cool. To combat darkness you can try to neg dark background, night and also prompt for a specific bg too.

ohh that's a blast from the past for me, I was a big fan of that with pony! But I haven't used that with noob since with cfg++ it's the goal to make the cfg as low as possible. Dyn.thresh.CFG does the opposite of that. IF you want to use it like I always did and understood it, you shouldn't use cfg++ with that. Or at least a much higher cfg value that normal. My go-to on pony was cfg 20-30 and mimic at a more normal value like 6 or 7. But maybe that's an option too? That addon is pretty old, I even used that on sd1.5 in the end. If you want I can try to find my old settings on all the values. It was very specific iirc.

I tried it with all my go to aspect ratios and desu I wasn't happy with any overlap under 128 hahaha. I alway got seams or too many hallucinations.

You need math nodes and a way to get the image size with a node too. Pretty easy to implement, If you want to can check which nodes I use: https://files.catbox.moe/sdel32.json ut not sure about the ratio for the overlap though...

Atm I'm not super sure either if it's worth it when staying at denoise 0.3 or lower. Also the strength and end values we're very much only first impressions. But it makes pircrel possible which iwas at 0.5 denoise for multidiff.

This general is like the only one with people who actually know what to do. Like other generals have trash gens. If you want to get easy gens going just use comfyui and use pony v6. Has the most artist styles supported though you will have to download them individually as loras. NTA, but he's not entirely wrong pony mixes have their advantages. Noob can be better on some big things but if you really want stuff to look nice you gotta know how to tune your style, which is not a streamlined process and requires you to fuck with your setup. It's easier to end up with bad quality stuff off the bat.
This maybe more so depends on the mixes used rather than pony vs ilu/noob. It just so happens pony has 2-3 good stable mixes and noob being the newcomer has a lot of competing ones.

On another note, there are a few concepts which are mutually exclusive between ilu and pony.
One /d/ related thing noob can't do very well is dicks and it struggles more to separate body proportion in general. For example, it's impossible to control testicle size, it more often than not thinks it's the same thing as the penis, specially when flaccid. Huge penis? you're getting giant balls too.
Dark genitalia? oh you mean a charcoal black cock on your pale character? got it. (no, it's also impossible to control weights, you'll get no reaction at (dark penis:0.5) and a black dick at (dark penis:0.6) for example, once it triggers and if it triggers it'll congofy it.
This along other small things like the inability to get "goblin ears", which were fine in pony.

The advantages are really nice though, and there are plenty of concepts it does wonderfully which pony can't, or did poorly. But anyone who tells you noob is perfect or better in every regard to pony is lying or a stable diffusion scrub

I have a similar penis color problem. I like a horse penis with the sheath and balls of the same color as the rest of the skin (in this case light skin), and regulating the color of the penis gave me a headache even with Pony, but with IL the problem has worsened.

Generally the trick is changing the color of the balls. The penis will follow the balls. I neg "darkened penis", "darkened balls" (e621 uses the word balls instead of testicles) in addition to "black balls" and "brown balls" or even "mottled penis" (this one for horse cocks). The problem is that there is not a proper name for the light-skin color. White skin might give you polar bear white, while pink is more pink panther pink. For e621 the human skin color is officially tan, but if you try "tan balls" you'll get a tan character no matter what you neg. I might neg slightly red balls or pink balls and then I get a color that is similar enough to that of the skin. Also neg "balls blush" if they are too reddish.

Another trick is negging strongly the reverse color. For example if you neg something blue, you get more orange. You need to find the opposite color.

But yeah, it is a pain, and it takes away space for negging more useful things.

Btw, now there is a new Lora for horse cocks, can't wait to try it out.

I wasn't implying it is, do "huge ears" and some combination of drooping and pointy ears on pony and it gives you huge goblin ears.
Ilu will turn them into animal ears no matter how much you neg them, failing that, it'll do razor straight elven ears.

Yes artists always have biases, but it's more so the inability to blend with weights.

You can also achieve stuff like this with[dark penis|(space)] or something like that. The problem is because (when) it only understands charcoal black, it'll ping pong towards either extreme.

I think it's by virtue of strong artist styles that it struggles at base stuff. That's my conjecture anyway.

All this stuff can at some point be fixed by loras, but loras are almost never good, it's rare to be able to stack a lot of them without melting and frying your gens

That's my biggest gripe with noob too. It's ofc better than base illu and I can live with the limitations but it's still not flexible as I'd like it to be. But imo the most misleading aspect of noob is its name lol. It's anything but noob friendly, especially the v-pred version. But both models have their uses. Oh nice, now I see why you have much larger upscale factors. But I don't think it makes a difference for multidiff. I again played around with it and found that the cnet really seems to introduce all kinds of issues with v-pred. So I guess the tile cnet is off the table for me. And I also tried a non-cfg++ for the multi diff upscale at low-ish cffg like 3.0 and it looks much cleaner. And that's what I'll be doing for the time being hahaha I'm done tweaking and testing. If you want to check on what I settled now I boxed picrel. Biggest takeaway is now: dont' use tile cnet for v-pred and no cfg++ sampler for multidiff. And I decided also to go with 0.75 rescale cfg. Even if the prompt adherence suffers maybe a tiny but, the gens feel a little cleaner with that value after all.

I started using OP links about 3-4 weeks ago. If you want the easy peasy start to run locally you can literally download the one file from the automatic1111 webui link, run it then Install python 3.10.6 and be done.
Grab a simple beginner checkpoint like Perfect Pony XL and bookmark danbooru tag groups, now you get all your hentai gens.

I always thought lanczos was the best way to upsample images? Did you find any obvious artifacts in my gen? But I'll try bicubic too. Shouldn't make too much of a difference at 1.1x.

the merge logic (I don't remember exact weights): CatTower has good backgrounds, but is grey and dull and poor artists due to strong built in style, noob 1.0 has the best artists but is finicky as fuck and has really poor backgrounds, cyberfix is overly bright and itercomp is overly saturated but they both have good anatomy. Merged them at some weights to achieve some kind of middle ground and it seems to have worked. Let me know what you think! You can look at my catbox for settings for it, I don't use any rescale or anything with it, very few negs too

I managed to get something out of that lora. Maybe that's close enough? The pony lora adds some artifacts and isn't super clean, but the ears are pretty cool. I don't have the option on forge. But I feel it may have its shortcomings.
If anything you'd want 2x1 or 3x1 as to not cut the character in half, which can result for example on mismatched pubes, since both are being read unique instructions.
But you don't want your squares to get bigger or much bigger than what you'd normally gen (720-1600), because then the quality suffers.

At the same time, shrinking the squares a lot would create more hallucinations. Multidiff hallucinations happen when it's genning an area, and say it doesn't find something in the prompt (1girl), so it adds one. More squares means more empty space, more empty space means higher likelihood the spot won't have what's in the prompt.

In short, 2x2 is the optimal size in 99% of cases.

What I did find out you can do for veeery big inpaints is add multidiff to them (half of inpaint H/W). It works really well.
