>>11218446Just making one more post to say, I've FINALLY managed to do it!!!!>>11218452>>11218489Major thanks to you anons! It seems that it is, indeed, triggered by sleeping in the wolf pile at the wolf cave! Might also have to do with the amount of wolf tf points I've got, since I just reached 80 on the day that I got this message.Either way, thanks for the help!
>>11218296Why is the classroom harasser's storyline in Course Of Temptation so RNG-based? It's been weeks and I still haven't got their second event.
>>11219636how nutty
>>11209492This is pretty great, anime styled 3D is better than WEG goblins, and there's a fair bit of interaction already. I always wanted a Summer Memories but futa themed, I really hope the dev releases more content quickly.
Star Knightess Aura is finally close to finishing (content-wise 1.0 is finished).Just gotta grind through as much polish work and bugfixing as I can until release.Big thanks to the /dgg/ dwellers who helped with playtesting aaaaaall the way back then when I just started out and was really in need to of feedback.
>>11219647Does anyone have any futasub games, especially with hung futas and/or autoimpregnation?
>>11219939Damn, really? That's great to hear. I haven't followed it since the early days and to be honest with you, I thought it was never going to get finished because the concept was just too good for a weg.
>>11219939congrats on the milestone. even though I think your work is as close to the worst shit possible for a conscious human to deliberately make, some of the newer projects from less unhinged teams and artists using the plugins you raised funds for a subcontractor to make and sell have been cool to see.
>>11220042>close to the worst shit possible for a conscious human to deliberately makeLOL goddamnit anonhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-tzs47o33A
>>11219736I'm retarded. If you spend time helping the professor and don't leave class soon after the lesson ends, then the second event with the classroom harasser won't happen.
>>11219736bc the game loop's supposed to replicate irl and its unpredictability, which isn't inherently bad on its own. The issue comes when said rng takes precedent over set storylines for named npcs, and when new events and mechanics added to the game make it difficult to access this content again. This mainly goes for the harasser routes, but multiple avenues in the game (becoming a football starter as a woman for example) will take up an obscene amount of time in-game even with the appropriate stats. Thankfully there's consistent updates and the harasser rng stuff will likely get fixed like all the roommate content, but still it'd be nice if the gameplay loop was overall just a tad bit less grindy. Especially when playing multiple PCs, it's annoying trying to get the same events across multiple saves and having massively varying wait times with consistently the same skills.
>>11219523I deserve this for God making me max out masochism early IRL god damn it. Also, what kind of freak cheeses a game like DOL anyway?
>>11220176>what kind of freak cheeses a game like DOL anyway?Dunno but I'm personally quite into speedrunning it. Something really funny to me about doing that. I think my record to date is... 13 minutes to get both the eden stockholm and the wolf stockholm, with all virginities intact+no trauma.
>CoTIs it just me or does the game feel very barebones outside the extensive procedurally generated people systems? It does a good impression of having realistic crowds of people living in the world, and you can get to know any single one of them which has amazing potential for stuff like exhibitionism. But it feels lacking in authored content, in storylines. It doesn't help that the few questlines it has haven't piqued my interest so far.
Thoughts? Is it even /d/ approved?
>>11220386>Thoughts?pic>Is it even /d/ approved? It's not really a /d/ game, but still good.
>>11220386Is it finished yet? I played it ages ago and don't even remember the sexual content. But it's a pretty imposing rational fiction epic. Some of its characters are smarter and better written than average people you meet IRL. The author should be writing books, not RPGMaker porn games.
Speaking of Kino I wonder how LonaRPG development is coming along, I haven't checked in a while. From what I saw the fan translation quality has dropped some and it's fallen behind, sadly.
>>11220406Everything sides the epilogue map exploration is done at this point, including the final optional mega boss rush battle giving you last secret harem member.
>>11220406>The author should be writing books, not RPGMaker porn games.Last Sovereign is as much a deconstruction as it is anything else, I would argue the contrary that the only reason it works is because it's a sex game that looks critically at how a normal sex game works and sees how this plays out in a very cynical world, it wouldn't be nearly as interesting if it was just within another framework critiquing how a character calling himself the Fucklord isn't actually realistic.
>>11220407Last I played was 0.9.5 a few months ago.It was almost finished with only an increasingly small part of Sybaris map still WIP and inaccessible. Eccma still posts random devlogs on his youtube channel but they're just him testing random shit. Useless for gauging development state.I don't know about the state of translation, but nowawdays you can automatically translate the untranslated bits with a MTL tool written in godot specifically for LonaRPG. Never underestimate Lonautists. There were a few bits of text that felt MTLish, but it was better experience than playing older versions with partial TLs or full MTLs.
>>11220406>The author should be writing books, not RPGMaker porn gamesThe author is a professional writer, IIRC.
>>11220409I don't disagree with your points, but I still think the medium doesn't work very well. Just for presentation reasons if nothing else.RPGmaker with tiny ADV textboxes is not the most comfortable way to read it nor the best way for the writer to structure it. Should at least use NVL text display. Dunno if there's even plugins for that on the old RPGMaker version the game uses.RPGmaker just isn't well suited for any alphabetic text in the first place but that's a whole nother can of worms.
>>11220415Can't recall when, but TLS did get a different font as well as character cut outs rather than the more closed in face ups that's standard in RPGmaker, so it does give a bit more breathe ability, I would contest that what an engine like RPGmaker enables does give you an advantage in limiting the design to be very character on character oriented, a medium like a book affords the writer very free ability in their work in how they want to express themselves, or even something more analogous to /d/ games like HTML but it tends to lead to a lot of endless paragraphs most people gloss over. But when all you have is characters talking to each other it creates a different dynamic, in some ways limiting, but at the same time giving them more room to openly express, grow and adapt. It's not like you can't have a more omniscient PoV in RPGM, but at that point it's trying to tailor it into a framework that it can't really fit. Of course if nobody likes these characters talking then people turn the game off, because that's what you mostly get playing RPGM, but TLS is good a really giving all these different characters a good input whenever it needs them, giving them good banter interplay and character growth.
Considering the nature of videogames as being inherently player controlled, it seems like bottom centric content is best experienced through losing, but that requires a sort of letting go of the control of the game state that runs contrary to the way games train us to behave, if not deliberate sandbagging. In my experience the best hgame moments happened during a cutscene or plot development where I'm caught off guard, not through gameplay, as it's rare for me to be in the right mental state to be able to stay immersed without savescumming/rerolling, the desire to optimize and improve my next run is usually too strong. There's this psychological idea that people blame themselves when something bad happens to them in order to maintain a sense of internal control, and I think games work in that system of control, when you're playing a videogame you are in a special environment that is supposed to be entirely decided by the feedback from your actions. Language like 'git gud' seems to tap into that good/bad mentality, and a lot of videogames are "ironically" described as being "for masochists". How it all adds up and relates to sex, I'm not entirely sure.
>>11220459the best faps are the ones where I actually try to beat the game but still end up getting raped
>>11220042Oh suck a dick, I really liked Star Knightess Aura when I played it ~2 years ago. Haven't played it since though, I've been waiting/checking for updates before I play it again.
A shame there aren't more games like RyonaRPG.It's one of the few H-games out of the 400+ that I've played that is actually hard. It's got a character rescue system, you are expected to lose characters and then (try to) rescue them with others.Instead there's a ton of games where you have to lose on purpose to easy bosses (usually with instant loss items--even the devs acknowledge their shit is too easy) and then reload a save after watching the bad end. Meh.
>>11220470I don't really care what the difficulty is, but if I can't play the H-game one handed, then no deal.
>>11220410I wish the game was more popular, it's the best game you can't recommend to anyone. It would work great as an indie sfw game, even.
>>11220470Long playable bad end/corruption/slavery paths are kino. Too bad that they're so rare.
>>11220487I suppose I'm too in denial about my own masochistic tendencies but I find those types of games really boring, mostly because they tend to rely on the character themself to act really irrational and stupid to the point that I never really see them as an actual person.
>>11220481It would help if the dev was slightly less batshit insane and didn't get mad at every community he interacts with.LonaRPG's readme is a fucking classic. A shame he hasn't been updating this list with everything. I've seen him rage at a couple of places not mentioned here.
>>11220491Only an absolute madman could cook like he does.
>>11220459the problem is when games punish you too hard for losing. It's why most RPGmaker games like this just let you save right before any fights you'd lose in.
>>11220407Im waiting for Sybaris to actually be playable. Not sure if that will only happen in the 1.0 version.
>>11220042What utter shit taste, SKA is the only RPGMaker game I've played that has actual enjoyable gameplay
>>11219523>I wouldn't mind seeing more characters spank you besides Bailey, Leighton and Sydney.Syndey spanks you? Where? Or is this just in the random library event with Leighton?
>>11220491he's pretty based for that at least
>>11220747I didn't know based was a synonym for childish.
>>11220750NTA but I do think he's at least somewhat based, if for absolutely no other reason that it isn't exactly uncommon for some devs, who I shan't name, to bend the knee and start making content for audiences they dislike for the sake of monetary gain. He's living his truth, and I have to hold a little respect for that (even if I personally think he's a deranged schizoid and he sounds really retarded).
>>11220771>start making content for audiences they dislike for the sake of monetary gainThe reason he hates 4chan is because we told him to fuck off when he started trying to make money with it via patreon. Not bending yourself for the sake of other's opinions is one thing, but raging at everyone who dares to not share your opinion is a whole different beast.
>>11220773>told him to fuck off when he started trying to make money with it via patreon.Isn't a patreon standard? What are the other available revenue streams that can sustain development?
>>11220773>he started trying to make money with it via patreonAh. Yeah, alright, I retract my previous statement then. Guy's a massive faggot.>>11220790>What are the other available revenue streams that can sustain development?Nearly all of the porn games I've seen that move to patreon to 'sustain their development' end up devolving into endless slogs of the creator 'taking breaks', releasing one minimal, content-desolate update per year at the very maximum, as the devs (particularly western ones) realize that they don't actually need to work on their project anymore and can instead subsist off whatever poor audience they've managed to gain.I personally don't really care for that either, as an artist, so I only release whatever I'm working on only once they're done or mostly there. The practice of starting a patreon or some other cash grab as soon as you've got the barest concept for a project is one I'd see die off sooner rather than later.
>>11220663I don't think Sybaris was ever planned to be playable?
>>11220773Of all the people who have ever moved development to the patreon model, Eccma's the LEAST worthy of criticism for it.
>>11220773>The reason he hates 4chanNo, that's for hgg2d specifically. 4chan and ddg ended on the shitlist for different reasons.
>>11220884>ddgSorry, dgg*Always forget this is technically /d/ games general, not /d/ dol general
