Those, being ultimately centered around men's experiences again, are debatably patriarchies even.It was why I particularly liked the Sleep Matriarchy premise of several threads back, as the society in it didn't hate men. It just left men behind, to men's detriment, forcing a matriarchy where men basically became unemployable in most jobs, and had to get hitched to a girl. Or break themselves trying to keep up. But no one in charge (women) really noticed or cared because, to their mind, they were just working hard, being more productive, and supporting men anyway. In a good Matriarchy, there is a specific set of appropriate times and places for a man to be, just as much as there is a specific appropriate set of ways to interact with him, depending on each place, and your relationship. In some cases, there are none.>In turn, a good man will understand there are specific places where his presence is appropriate, and where it is not. And that, just as there are appropriate and inappropriate ways to treat with him, which he should be mindful of, there are appropriate and inappropriate ways for him to respond to others/women/society, when he is interacted with. And like above, in some cases, there are no appropriate options for him.
