Trying to restore a swede jacket that belonged to my friends husband.Ordered a special brush from amazon. Seems really stiff like it's going to need a really good brushing.Question: The guides online say use vinegar and water to remove stains. What if I put it in the wash with a bunch of vinegar? The whole thing is pretty run down.

Bump. Any advice? Got a brush in the mail and some vinegar. I take it from the apparent stiffness of the brush that you've gotta go pretty hard all over?
Vinegar worked well. Just got the brush in the mail but it doesn't seem to really do anything.
