nothing special, but showing off anyway, cut from merbau, the small hole in the bottom is a channel for two woofers to share an isobaric chamber.I still have to cut three more into three similar enough pieces, then four more into two other pieces, makes sense when the next pic goes up.
the (intended) final product, the top and bottom woofers will be behind glass, this way the backs and the fronts of the carbon fiber woofers can be seen.after a lead lining, each cabinet will weigh 100kg (220lb) each.I designed it on tinkercad, and I'm slowly making each piece, mostly with a Ryobi one+ 18v trim router.
>>2825382what the fuck is wrong with you actually doing stuff with tools?
>>2825382Based audio enthusiast fabricator. 2 way or 3 way?Almost done with one of the midrangemounts for my truck's 3 way. Just need to spot putty a few areas.
>>2825466ikr, practically a caveman...>>2825506Three way, 2x2 Dayton Epique 7" woofers, 4" Tang Band dome Mid, 5" Dayton Ribbon.this is three pieces, the top two (taped together) will hold the mid and tweeter and also be isolated from the woofer cabinet with a layer of neoprene.
nice woodworking, hope it sounds good anon. should have took the audio exciter pill tho, much easier to put together

>>2825382What's the purpose of the lead lining? Wouldn't that absorb sound, or is it something to do with cutting resonance?
>>2825888You want to absorb sound inside the box.
>>2825382Nice cuts, but, why are going with that abomination of a build? Have you built speakers before?
>>2825911ahh, ok.
