Guys I have lived a hair shirt existance for maybe 20 years where I had no control nor property to my name. I still kind of dont but now I have this job trailer. It's a pale white and made mostly of wooden interior and is just one giant L desk with angled drafting section on the lip of the L. I feel a powerful need to completely renovate and customize it. I probably shouldn't, but I want to, I've never owned something I could just paint and add stuff I wanted. I'm looking at wooden slats, but because its a trailer I dont want to add a lot of weight. I'm also not sure if I should go light or dark. I've heard that if you dont have lots of windows, (it doesnt). you should just go dark. I have so many ideasANYway TL:DR how do you guys deal with it? how do you choose what to do? I'm leaning japanese themed. it's so stressful to choose.
>>2868715You can use Stable Diffusion to generate some sample images of what you're going for and try out different things. Inpainting and sketch mode are especially useful, you can take a picture of [thing] and paint over it roughly, then have SD finish it into whatever. Also if you've never done anything until now, then consider your skill level and tooling. You're not going to be making anything fancy with 0 tools and 0 experience.
>>2868816I have access to lots of tools but basically no practical experiance and no free time, which is why I honestly am feeling the anxious burn the most. to top it off, the real look I want has a lot of off the shelf stuff like the slats, but theyre not only pricey, but too dense, I want a sparser slat panel.
>>2868832There's lighter imitation wood like WPC, still not cheap. Or painted polystyrene imitation wood.
>>2868835wouldnt veneer be best?
>>2868836If you have something to apply it to and apply it with.
>>2868857i guess i cant just slap it on the foam right? I have to have wood?
>>2868934You can put it on anything, but the results will be appropriate to what you put it on, foam is weak shit. Maybe just consider using lightweight types of wood.
post a floorplan.workshop or camper?Paint it white inside with black trim, put in a murphy bed that can double as a workbench. wire rack shelving is light weight and strong..
>>2869717what can you even make in here other than buttscratchers and coasters
>>2868715Just start with something small and go from there. Have a sort of general idea of what you want it to look like and just start doing it. Change things on the fly, do whatever you want. You are overthinking it anon, just do it.
>>2868715It would help if you post pics.
>>2868715how did you make this image, i also want to generate funny image
