I use this to heat a 160 sq shed at night
>>2869897Already it's at 130 a the heat propagates the room. It's like literally having a fireplace. Only the fireplace is an infrared sauna, and 1500W of heat lamps

>>2869900Why do you assume fire? The lamps are properly oriented.
>>2869908https://presearch.com/search?q=brooder%20lamp%20firesbrooder lamps have burned countless barns down. my best friends brother lost 2 barns full of equipment and nealry his house last spring when one in his chicken coop started a fire. he had them on a timer and well protected to try to mitigate the risk, but one still turned into a bbq and the rest is history. i wouldnt go to sleep with one lit on my property but you do you
>>2869897Where's the pack of Marlboros?
>>2869938>>2869900>>2869897I raise chickens. I sued a heat lamp hanging in the coop till one day the bulb fell out, hot, and the screw stayed in.now I had a open circuit and a fire. my rooster freaked out and I found it before it killed my flock.I have never used a heat lamp again and anytime I need heat I use plates.
>>2869949that's pretty scary, but seems like a fixture with bulb guard eliminates the risk?
>>2869897Does it work? Seems like an oil heater would be better all around
